Item TIME ORIENTATIONS OF UKRAINIAN STUDENTS WITH TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES.(2025) Plokhikh, V.; Popovych, I.; Savchuk, O.; Shevchenko, N.; Hoian, I.; Petraniuk, A.; Попович, І. С.The study aims to determine the specificity of the ratio between time orientations of Ukrainian students burdened with traumatic experiences. Significant differences were specified that at the level of students’ personality organisation, their traumatic experiences are reflected in high values of such problematic stable characteristics and mental states as neuroticism, depressiveness, irritability, shyness, and emotional lability. It was summarised that activation of psychological defences distorts the perception of reality, reinforces stereotypical responses, and resists the constructive function of professional education goals, limiting the flexibility and initiative of cognitive activities.
