    IMPACT OF PSYCHOGENIC FACTORS ON MOTIVATIONAL ORIENTATION OF JUNIOR ATHLETES

    The purpose of the empirical research is to find out the impact of psychogenic factors on motivational orientation of junior athletes. The study identified differences in the psychological content parameters reflecting psychogenic factors of junior athletes by high and low levels. The research involved juniors (n=75) (Мe=17; М=17.23; SD=±1.67) representing the following football clubs (n=43): FC “Krystal” (Kherson, Ukraine), FC “Riatuvalnyk” (Mykolaiv, Ukraine), FC “Enerhiia” (Lviv, Ukraine) and juniors (n=32) of handball clubs “Dniprianka” (Kherson, Ukraine) and “Real” (Mykolaiv, Ukraine). Methods: the selected methods, which are reliable and sensitive to the research subject, allowed measuring the research parameters relevantly, ensured external and internal validity. In addition, purposeful observation with entering data in standard reports was used. Statistically significant differences were found by means of standard coefficients. Results. It was empirically established and substantiated that there are dominant negative statistically significant correlations (р<.050; р<.010) of depressiveness (D), neuro-psychic tension (NPT), situational reactive anxiety (SRA) and personal anxiety (PA), spontaneous (Scale II) and reactive aggressiveness (Scale VII) with all the parameters of motivational orientation of junior athletes: subject-directed (Sb); result-directed (R), socially directed (Sc) and personally directed motivational orientation (P). A positive correlation of neuro-psychic tension (NPT) and spontaneous aggressiveness (Scale II) is accounted for by an impact on socially directed motivational orientation. It was proved that there are statistically significant differences between the respondents with a high level of the parameters reflecting psychogenic factors and the subgroup of respondents with a low level. Thirteen statistically significant differences were registered (p≤.050; p≤.010). The study highlights that subject-directed motivational orientation (Sb) is the most dependent on the level of development of the parameters reflecting psychogenic factors. Discussion and conclusions. It was substantiated that the suggested summative research strategy with elements of comparison of the examined variables confirmed its efficiency. The applied methods, which are sensitive to the research subject, allowed establishing and substantiating statistically significant differences. The obtained results should be taken into consideration by coaches in physical and tactical-technical training for the representatives of team sports

    DISPOSITIONAL MENTAL STATES OF INTERNALLY DISPLACED UNIVERSITY TEACHERS UNDER MARTIAL LAW: GENDER DIFFERENCES

    Aim. The empirical study of gender differences in the dispositional mental states of university teachers who were internally displaced during martial law. Methods. A combined research strategy was used, integrating the methods for comparing samples of female and male participants. The different types of dispositional mental states of the respondents were identified by the author’s methodology for the study of dominant mental states. Results. It was discovered that the respondents’ psychological content parameters showed statistically significant gender-based differences. Group 1 prevailed in terms of anxiety (U = 855.0; p = .000). Group 2 prevailed in terms of self-control (U = 975.0; p = .001); awareness of events (U = 707.5; p = .000); expected attitude (U = 1074.0; p = .006); expected result (U = 1067.0; p = .006) and psychological wellbeing (U = 1113.5; p = .014). The dispositional mental states of a female sample of internally displaced university teachers were represented by five components with a total variation of Σd = 74.527%. The male sample had four factors with a total variation Σd = 94.442%. It was stated that there were significant differences between the dispositional mental states of female and male teachers in terms of formal characteristics and content loading of components. Conclusions. The scientific value of empirical facts about the dispositional mental states of university teachers who were internally displaced as a result of wartime action is justified. The importance of incorporating the discovered results into scientific and educational processes is emphasised.

    PSYCHOMOTOR TRAINING OF THE MILITARY SAPPERS AS A MEANS OF REDUCING PERSONAL FEARS AND ANXIETY

    The purpose of this study is to reveal the features of psychomotor training of a sapper, the development of the necessary sensory-intuitive skills to regulate their actions and deeds while performing tasks in the minefield. Material and methods. Three series of psychological experiments were conducted. The importance of psychomotor training in the context of reducing the level of anxiety and personal fears of sappers was revealed. The research was integrated into the process of training in the discipline “Blasting”. The study did not change the structure of the discipline, as it was only related to the content. The collected and analyzed data were used for the quantitative method. Results. It was determined that the most talented servicemen, with well-developed coordination of movements, mental stability, ability to regulate personal fears, make quick decisions, work alone for a long time, stay calm in tense situations, should be involved in the sappers’ activities. Conclusions. Our psychological training “Minefield” promotes the development of professionally necessary qualities among military sappers, provides the development of psychomotor and sensory-intuitive skills to regulate movements and actions during combat missions. Improves constructive attitudes in the unit of sappers, friendliness, reflexive listening, kindness, leadership and patience.

    Personality Factors of Choosing Adaptation Strategies in a Different Cultural Environment by Labor Migrants from Ukraine

    The paper presents empirical research on personality factors of choosing adaptation strategies in a different cultural environment by labor migrants. The study determines three major adaptation strategies: integration, assimilation and marginalization. It establishes that integration and assimilation are means of solving the crisis of social identity. Personal identity acquires features of mature positive identity, when labor migrants integrate into a different cultural environment of a country of their employment. If a migrant chooses the strategy of assimilation, then personal identity has a tendency to approach to diffusive, “fuzzy” identity with indefinite life cycles, a decreased level of self-respect, a lack of internal integrity and uniformity. A marginal status of labor migrants in a country of employment causes an intensification of the crisis of personal identity, when migrants are not satisfied with the situation of employment abroad, but they do not see opportunities for selfrealization in Ukraine. Factor analysis made it possible to establish an adaptation structure of labor migrants consisting of five major factors (72.43%). Емпірично досліджено особистісні чинники вибору трудовими мігрантами стратегій адаптації в інокультурному просторі. З’ясовано три основних стратегії адаптації: інтеграція, асиміляція, маргіналізація. Встановлено, що інтеграція та асиміляція є засобом розв’язання кризи соціальної ідентичності. Особистісна ідентичність набуває ознак зрілої позитивної, коли трудовий мігрант інтегрується до інокультурного простору країни працевлаштування. Якщо мігрант обирає стратегію асиміляції, то особистісна ідентичність має тенденцію наближуватись до дифузної, “розмитої” ідентичності з невизначеними життєвими цілями, зниженим рівнем самоповаги, відсутністю внутрішньої цілісності та узгодженості. Маргінальне становище трудового мігранта у країні працевлаштування призводить до поглиблення кризи особистісної ідентичності, коли мігранта не влаштовує ситуація праці за кордоном, але й в Україні він не бачить можливостей для самореалізації. Встановлено, що чинниками вибору стратегії працевлаштування є відкритість досвіду, екстраверсія, сумлінність, схильність до згоди. Факторним аналізом встановлено структуру адаптації трудових мігрантів, що складається з п’яти основних факторів (72.43%).

    Communicative Competence in Training Future Language and Literature Teachers

    The purpose of the paper is to present the empirical research on the components of communicative competence of future language and literature teachers during their studies at a higher education institution. The need for communication is considered as a basic one in the development of an individual as a social subject of behavior. The study substantiates that interaction with others, emotional and confidential communication is a factor of personality development, the means of improving communicative competence. The research methods: tests with standardized questionnaires and factor analysis. The study examines communicative competence as an element of professional training of future language and literature teachers. Factor analysis was used to determine the structure of communicative competence of future language and literature teachers. The following factor structure was established: (85.54%): F1 “ Communicative intolerance ” (4.069; 23.94%), F2 “ Communicative dominance ” (2.491; 14.65%), F3 “ Communicative anxiety ” (2.219; 13.05%), F4 “ Ethno-social compromise ” (2.119; 12.47%), F5 “ Communicative helplessness ” (1.822; 10.72%), F6 “ Need for communication ” (1.820; 10.71%). The research determines that in the structure of communicative competence of future language and literature teachers communicative tolerance reflects the need and content of communication and the willingness to communicate with others. The paper substantiates that a low level of communicative tolerance is an incentive for selfdevelopment in perceptive and interactive areas. It emphasizes that affiliation motivation is an important component of developing communicative tolerance at the stage of professional training at a higher education institution. The study shows that an individual’s need for affiliation during studies in a higher education institution is blocked by fear of rejection, causing different types of communicative intolerance. Метою статті є емпіричне дослідження компонентів комунікативної компетентності майбутніх педагогів-філологів на етапі їхнього навчання в закладі вищої освіти. Потреба у спілкуванні розглянута як базова у розвитку людини як соціального суб’єкта поведінки. Обґрунтовано, що взаємодія з оточенням, емоційно-довірливе спілкування є чинником особистісного зростання, засобом формування комунікативної компетентності. Методи дослідження: тести зі стандартизованими анкетами та факторний аналіз. Емпірично досліджено комунікативну компетентність як елемент фахової підготовки майбутніх педагогів-філологів. Факторним аналізом визначено структура комунікативної компетентності майбутніх педагогів-філологів. Встановлено таку факторну структуру (85.54%): F1 “Комунікативна інтолерантність” (4.069; 23.94%), F2 “Комунікативна домінантність” (2.491; 14.65%), F3 “Комунікативна тривожність” (2.219; 13.05%), F4 “Етносоціальний компроміс” (2.119; 12.47%), F5 “Комунікативна безпорадність” (1.822; 10.72%), F6 “Потреба у спілкуванні” (1.820; 10.71%). Встановлено, що у структурі комунікативної компетентності майбутніх педагогів-філологів комунікативна толерантність відображає потребу і зміст комунікації, бажання комунікувати з оточенням. Обґрунтовано, що низький рівень комунікативної толерантності є поштовхом до саморозвитку в перцептивній та інтерактивній площині. Зазначено, що мотивація афіліації є важливим компонентом розвитку комунікативної толерантності на етапі навчання у закладі вищої освіти. Показано, що внутрішня потреба особистості в афіліації під час навчання у закладі вищої освіти блокується страхом неприйняття, викликаючи різні форми комунікативної інтолерантності.
