dc.description.abstractКваліфікаційна робота присвячена комплексному дослідженню правового статусу військовополонених та аналізу механізмів забезпечення їхніх прав у контексті сучасних збройних конфліктів. У роботі ґрунтовно досліджено міжнародно-правові стандарти, закладені Женевськими конвенціями, та висвітлено особливості їх імплементації в національну практику України в умовах повномасштабної агресії, яку здійснює росія. Особливу увагу приділено функціонуванню Координаційного штабу з питань поводження з військовополоненими, правовим аспектам процедури обміну та проблематиці захисту вразливих груп, зокрема жінок-військовослужбовців. Автор обґрунтовує необхідність посилення міжнародного контролю за місцями утримання полонених та пропонує шляхи вдосконалення вітчизняного законодавства для гарантування прав на гідне поводження, медичну допомогу та правовий захист. The qualification work is devoted to a comprehensive study of the legal status of prisoners of war and the analysis of the mechanisms for ensuring their rights in the context of modern armed conflicts. The work thoroughly researched the international legal standards laid down by the Geneva Conventions and highlighted the peculiarities of their implementation in the national practice of Ukraine in the conditions of full-scale aggression carried out by Russia. Special attention was paid to the functioning of the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the legal aspects of the exchange procedure, and the issues of protection of vulnerable groups, in particular female military personnel. The author justifies the need to strengthen international control over places of detention of prisoners and suggests ways to improve domestic legislation to guarantee the rights to decent treatment, medical care and legal protection.
