    У роботі було розкрито зміст поняття «екскурсія», визначено її функції; розглянуто класифікаційні ознаки екскурсій; проведено аналіз стану розвитку міських прогулянок в Херсонській області; визначено особливості організації міської екскурсії; визначено шляхи покращення міської екскурсії. The content of the concept of "excursion" was revealed in the work, its functions were defined; the classification features of excursions are considered; the analysis of a condition of development of city walks in the Kherson area is carried out; features of the organization of city excursion are defined; identified ways to improve the city tour.
