Для кожного регіону показники можуть суттєво відрізнятися, оскільки вірусні хвороби можуть бути розповсюдженя локально. Віруси, що здатні уражати рослини мають особливості паразитичних спеціалізацій. Кукурудзу використовують не тільки як продукт харчування для людини, а й як корм для тварин, біопалива. Вивчення паразитичної спеціалізації вірусів, що вражають кукурудзу є необхідним, оскільки вдала профілактика вірусних хвороб кукурудзи можлива лише за умов розуміння як передається вірус, який резервуар у природі він має та чи здатен вражати тільки один вид рослин чи декілька. /Viral diseases of corn occur in all regions of the world where corn is grown. For each region, the indicators may differ significantly, as viral diseases may spread locally. Viruses capable of infecting plants have features of parasitic specializations. Corn is used not only as food for humans, but also as animal feed and biofuel. Studying the parasitic specialization of viruses affecting corn is necessary, since successful prevention of viral diseases of corn is possible only under the conditions of understanding how the virus is transmitted, what reservoir it has in nature, and whether it is capable of affecting only one type of plant or severalItem РОЛЬ ПРОТИВІРУСНИХ ВАКЦИН У КОНТРОЛЮВАННІ ВІРУСНИХ ЗАХВОРЮВАНЬ УКРАЇНИ(2023) Старостіна, Ю. С.Інфекційні хвороби за всіх часів були головними ворогами живих організмів. Лише з появою вакцин почалася нова епоха боротьби зінфекціями. Імунопрофілактичні заходи мають на меті змістити рівновагу сил у складних взаємовідносинах між мікроорганізмами та людьми і створити стан специфічної резистентності (імунності) до певного виду збудника конкретної інфекційної хвороби. Успішне стримування та викорінення пандемічних вірусів можливе лише за допомогою профілактичних вакцин. Противірусні препарати можуть лише зменшити захворюваність і смертність, пов’язані з інфекцією. Що стосується України, то нам потрібно запровадити обов'язкову вакцинацію осіб різних груп ризику з інфекційних захворювань/ Infectious diseases have always been the main enemies of living organisms. Only with the advent of vaccines did a new era of fighting infections begin. Immunoprophylactic measures are aimed at shifting the balance of power in the complex relationship between microorganisms and people and creating a state of specific resistance (immunity) to a certain type of causative agent of a specific infectious disease. Successful containment and eradication of pandemic viruses is possible only with preventive vaccines. Antiviral drugs can only reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with the infection. As for Ukraine, we need to introduce mandatory vaccination of persons at various risk groups from infectious diseases
