    У статті розкриваються провідні шляхи звернення до міфологічних концептів безпосередньо у тексті твору. У дослідженні підкреслюється, що звертання до поеми Гомера «Одіссея» проводиться авторкою з метою втілення у романі феміністичного дискурсу. Особлива увага звернена на персонажно-гендерну систему твору. The article reveals the leading ways of appealing to mythological concepts directly in the text of the work.. The research emphasizes that reference to Homer’s poem “Odyssey” is made by author to embody the feminist discourse in the novel. Special attention is paid to the character and gender system of the work.

    Статтю присвячено дослідженню теоретичних засад феміністичної наратології. Вказано найпоширеніші підходи «посткласичної» фази наратології й окреслено ряд проблем у вивченні гендеру та наративу. The article is devoted to the study of the theoretical foundations of feminist narratology. The most common approaches of the "post-classical" phase of narratology are indicated and a number of problems in the study of gender and narrative are outlined.

Several options for defining the concept of «gender» and its aspects are offered.
