Спираючись на дослідження вітчизняних і зарубіжних учених, автор з’ясовує ці поняття,
розкриває їх природу, сутність і взаємовідношення та їх місце в сучасному мовознавстві. The article focuses on the linguists’ points of view on the phenomenon “text” and
“discourse”. Taking into consideration the researches of native and foreign scientists, the
author defines these notions, discovers their nature, correlation and their place in modern
linguistics.
