The article touches upon the semantically-syntactic peculiarities’ spectrum of two-component isofunctional paradigms, based on the inner psycho-emotional state predicates’ constitutive potential according to the N1 + Vf / N1 + Adj structural scheme. The main cognitive and thematic parts are given.Item БАЗОВІ МОДЕЛІ ВЗАЄМОДІЇ МОВ ПРИ УТВОРЕННІ ЕТИМОЛОГІЧНИХ ДУБЛЕТІВ В УКРАЇНСЬКІЙ МОВІ(2011) Шевченко, К.У пропонованій роботі визначаються моделі взаємодії мов при утворенні етимологічних дублетів в українській мові. Ці моделі базуються на трьох параметрах: статус мови, тип взаємодії мов, схема взаємодії мов. Автором даються теоретичні обґрунтування розмежування статусів мов і еволюції й запозичення як різних типів взаємодії мов. In the work above we define the models of the interactions between languages when we speak about the formation of the etymological doublets in the Ukrainian language. These models are based upon three parameters: the status of the language, the type of the interaction between languages, the scheme of the interaction between languages. The author gives theoretical grounds of the differentiation of the status of languages and the evolutions and borrowings as different types of the interaction of the languages.Item ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ СТУПЕНЯ ВІДПОВІДНОСТІ ТЕКСТУ ПЕРЕКЛАДУ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКАМ ТЕКСТУ ОРИГІНАЛУ В АНОТАЦІЯХ АВТОРІВ УКРАЇНСЬКИХ ДИСЕРТАЦІЙ(2011) Черноватий, Л.За результатами аналізу анотацій українською та англійською мовами в авторефератах дисертацій у галузі психології з пгляду їх мовного оформлення, коректності термінології, відповідності дискурсивним та жанровим характеристикам, обґрунтованості способів перекладу, відповідності стратегії перекладу комунікативній ситуації та вимогам замовника, автор формулює висновок про їх неповну відповідність й окреслює шляхи покращення ситуації. Basing upon the results of the original analysis aimed to establish the equivalence (in language, terminology and discourse characteristics, translation strategy and devices, as well as in meeting the requirements of the communicative situation and the customer) of Ukrainian- and English-language abstracts in Ukrainian dissertations submitted for the PhD research degree in Psychology, the author concludes that their equivalence is incomplete and suggest ways to improve the situation.Item МНОГОЗНАЧНЫЕ СЛОВА КАК ВЫРАЗИТЕЛЬНЫЕ СРЕДСТВА ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННОЙ РЕЧИ (НА МАТЕРИАЛЕ ПРОИЗВЕДЕНИЙ Л. The article considers the main approaches to the notion “bilingualism”, gives the list of classification criteria in the context of sociolinguistic and psycholinguistic aspects of its study, lightens basic notions adjacent to bilingualism.Item ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ФУНКЦІОНУВАННЯ НОВИХ АБРЕВІАТУР В ОФІЦІЙНО-ДІЛОВОМУ СТИЛІ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ МОВИ КІНЦЯ ХХ – ПОЧАТКУ ХХІ СТОЛІТЬ(2011) Тур, О.У статті визначено особливості функціонування нових абревіатур у законодавчому, дипломатичному та адміністративно-канцелярському підстилях офіційно-ділового стилю української мови кінця ХХ – початку ХХІ століть, охарактеризовано згруповані за спільними ознаками абревіатури в законодавчому і адміністративно-канцелярському підстилях, з’ясовано специфіку вживання чужомовних лексичних скорочень в дипломатичних текстах. In this article we define functional peculiarities of new abbreviations in legislative, diplomatic, administrative and office substyles in official-business style of Ukrainian language at the end of XX – beginning of XXI centuries. The article focuses on the lexical means of tropes in emotional political discourse in the English press which characterize functional language style. It is also stressed that lexis has its own distinctive stylistic nuance.
