    Методи використання хмарних сервісів у навчанні іноземної мови

    Цілі дослідження: визначити особливості використання хмарних сервісів у процесі формування англомовної комунікативної компетентності та розробити модель взаємодії системи дистанційного навчання (СДН) з хмарними сервісами, що сприяє покращенню якості процесу навчання. Завдання дослідження: визначити, описати та розробити методичні особливості моделі взаємодії системи дистанційного навчання та хмарних сервісів; розглянути на прикладах методи використання хмарних сервісів у СДН у процесі навчання іноземної мови, направлених на формування англомовної комунікативної компетентності студентів; експериментально дослідити рівень застосування хмарних сервісів у дистанційному навчанні та визначити шляхи підвищення якості їх використання. Об’єкт дослідження: методична система навчання іноземної мови студентів мовних спеціальностей у вищих навчальних закладах. Предмет дослідження: методична модель взаємодії хмарних технологій та системи дистанційного навчання у процесі формування англомовної комунікативної компетентності студентів. Використані методи дослідження: огляд і аналіз наукових публікацій, психолого-педагогічної та методичної літератури, моделювання складних систем, анкетування, проведення педагогічного експерименту. Результати дослідження. Розроблено модель взаємодії системи дистанційного навчання та хмарних сервісів, визначені методичні особливості даної взаємодії. Розглянуто методи використання хмарних сервісів на прикладі створення дистанційного курсу «Practical English Course Upper Intermediate» з описом методики виконання завдань щодо формування англомовної комунікативної компетенції студентів мовних спеціальностей. В результаті експериментального дослідження виявлено, що низький рівень використання хмарних технологій у дистанційному навчанні є наслідком недостатньої обізнаності викладачів у можливостях їх використання. Основні висновки і рекомендації: 1) застосування хмарних технологій у дистанційному навчанні іноземної мови сприятиме підвищенню якості навчання студентів мовних спеціальностей вищих навчальних закладів; 2) доцільним є подальша робота над ознайомленням та навчанням викладачів ВНЗ з використанням хмарних сервісів у професійній та навчальній діяльності. Research goals: determine particularities of using cloud services in English communicative competence forming process and develop the model of distance learning system (DLS) and cloud services interaction that improves the quality of the learning process. Research objectives: to identify, describe and develop methodological features of the model of distance learning system and cloud services interaction; consider on the examples the methods of use cloud services in DLS in foreign language training, aimed at English communicative competence forming process of students; experimentally investigate the level of using of cloud services in distance learning and identify ways of improving its use. Object of research: methodical system of foreign language students’ training of language faculties in high institutions. Subject of research: methodological model of the model of distance learning system and cloud services interaction in English communicative competence forming process. Research methods used: review and analysis of scientific publications, psychological, educational and instructional materials, modeling of complex systems, questionnaires, conducting pedagogical experiment. Results of the research. The model of distance learning system and cloud services interaction was developed and the methodological particularities of this interaction are defined. Methods of using cloud services on the example of the distance course “Practical English Course Upper Intermediate” describing the methods of doing the tasks in English communicative competence forming process of language faculties were considered. As a result of experiment it was found there is a low level of use of cloud technologies in distance learning is a consequence of a lack of awareness of teachers in the possibilities of its use. The main conclusions and recommendations: 1) the use of cloud technologies in distance learning of foreign language will improve the quality of training of students of language faculties of high institutions; 2) it is reasonable to conduct work in familiarization and training university lecturers using cloud services in professional and educational activities.

    У статі визначаються особливості організації самостійної роботи студентів з використанням технологій дистанційного навчання; розкрито сутність поняття «самостійна навчально-пізнавальна діяльність», «дистанційне навчання», розглянуті традиційні форми контролю самостійної роботи студентів та форми контролю в умовах дистанційного навчання. Визначено специфіку контролю знань самостійної роботи студентів мовних спеціальностей у системі дистанційного навчання «Херсонський Віртуальний Університет». Приведено практичну реалізацію контролю знань самостійної роботи на прикладі дистанційного курсу з вивчення іноземної мови студентами мовних спеціальностей ВНЗ. В статье описываются особенности организации самостоятельной работы студентов с использованием технологий дистанционного обучения; раскрыта сущность понятия «самостоятельная учебно-познавательная деятельность», «дистанционное обучение», рассмотрены традиционные формы контроля самостоятельной работы студентов и формы контроля в условиях дистанционного обучения. Определена специфика организации контроля знаний самостоятельной работы студентов языковых специальностей в системе дистанционного обучения «Херсонский Виртуальный Университет». Представлена практическая реализация контроля знаний самостоятельной работы на примере дистанционного курса по изучению иностранного языка студентами языковых специальностей ВУЗа. In the article the features of students’ self-learning activity with the help of distance learning technologies are defined; the definition of the concept of «selflearning activity», «distance learning» are considered. Traditional forms of students' control of self-learning activity and forms of control in distance learning are observed. The organization specificity of self-learning activity control of students of language departments in distance learning system «Kherson Virtual University» is defined. The set of didactic requirements and standards, imposed on the organization of students’ self-learning activity in distance learning is defined. The features of in training process of future teachers are analyzed. The authors demonstrated that selflearning activity is the priority forms of educational process in higher educational institutions. The set of exercises of self-learning activity control of students is realized in the distance courses of foreign language students. The testing system, offered in distance learning system "Kherson Virtual University" is considered as the primary and most effective means of control of knowledge of students'. The practical realization of knowledge control of self-learning activity on the example of the distance course “Practical English Course Upper Intermediate” is presented.The problems put in the article need further study in creating comprehensive methodological system of knowledge control of students' self-activity of language faculties of universities and the practical implementation of it in the process of learning to improve the quality of the learning process as a whole.

    The Use of Cloud Services for Learning Foreign Language (English)
