В.; Осипова, Н. В.Today, specialists in engineering specialties are becoming increasingly popular on the labor market. In accordance with the requirements of society, the educational system is looking for opportunities to increase children's interest in the study of subjects in the natural and mathematical cycle. The article presents the experience of holding a summer camp for children for the purpose of attracting them to scientific research and acquaintance with the courses of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). The teachers of the STEM-school of the Kherson State University developed the "Summer Intensive" course to familiarize children with the basics of robotics, programming and physics. The course is designed for five days, each of which includes 4 lessons: from physics in practice and experiments, the basics of robotics, the basics of programming, needlework, as well as active games, walks in the park, excursions. During two years 188 children were trained, the article contains the justification for the selection of experiments in physics for children 6-14 years old, a detailed description of their conduct, organization of acquaintance with the basics of robotics using Lego Education WeDo 2.0, programming with Scratch. V.When studying metric spaces, students of higher education often have difficulties with understanding the basic concepts and properties of these spaces. This, to a large extent, is a consequence of the significant level of formalization of such concepts on the one hand, and the preservation of the corresponding formulations and names familiar to students from a school mathematics course. To overcome these difficulties, it is advisable to use methods of geometric interpretation and visualization of these properties. At the same time, it is appropriate to use elements of metric geometry. Its methods make it possible to interpret the geometric features of the mutual placement of points of metric space in Cartesian (rectangular) coordinate systems, which are familiar to students of higher education. Moreover, it becomes possible to visualize these features with the help of graphic editors, since they, as a rule, use numerical values of the coordinates of points to visualize them. Based on the definition of an angle as an ordered trio of points of an arbitrary metric space, and the angular characteristic of this angle, the fact of the flat placement of four points of a non-Euclidean metric space is established, and examples of digital visualization of this arrangement using the dynamic geometric environment GeoGebra 3D are given.Item APPLICATION OF DATA MINING AND MACHINE LEARNING METHODS TO DEVELOP A DISEASE DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM BASED ON GENE EXPRESSION DATA(2024) Babichev, S.; Liakh, I.; Durnyak, B.; Бабічев, С. А.This monograph addresses the pressing scientific and practical problem of devel- oping and applying methodological foundations of information technology for pro- cessing gene expression data. This technology integrates gene ontology analysis, cluster-bicluster analysis, and deep learning methods for solving tasks in the field of bioinformatics. Its distinctive feature is higher adequacy in disease diagnosis compared to existing methods, achieved through hybridising existing methods and algorithms for big data processing, optimization of model hyperparameters using quantitative quality criteria, and considering the type of data being studied. The relevance of the research topic is underscored by the current absence of adequate in- formation technology for processing gene expression data to identify significant and mutually correlated genes capable of diagnosing the diseases with high confidence and predicting their further development at the genetic level by modelling changes in the expression of target genes and their impact on the studied object. The ef- ficiency of the diagnostic process can be enhanced through model hybridization, which involves the comprehensive application of various methods and algorithms to improve the reliability of decision-making at the corresponding stage. This ap- proach necessitates the development of hybrid quality criteria for evaluating the outcome at each stage. Another way to enhance the effectiveness of gene expression data processing technology is the use of method ensembles, followed by compar- ing the results obtained by each method using appropriate quality criteria and calculating a comprehensive criterion for making the final decision on the model structure. The monograph can be interested for scientists specialized in the fields of both development and applying data science techniques in various fields of scientific research.Item Applied Aspects of Instrumental Digital Didactics: M-learning with the Use of Smartphone Sensors(2020) Kurylenko, N.; Slipukhina, І.; Chernetckiy, I.; Mieniailov, S.; Podlasov, S.According to the concept of the new Ukrainian school, the educa- tional process is undergoing intense changes. This is partly due to the active implementation of a variety of information and communication technologies and mobile equipment. The article discusses the methods of use of mobile ap- plications for physics study. Foreign and Ukrainian experience of using infor- mation-technological and technical capabilities of mobile devices for educa- tional purposes is analyzed. The classification of mobile applications is pro- posed; methodological advantages and disadvantages of their use in the educa- tional process are defined. Mobile applications are an important part of the digi- tal didactics tools. Features of innovative teaching methods based on the use of the measuring, computing, and modeling functions of the sensitive elements of gadgets are revealed. It has been shown that the use of sensors in the teaching of physics is a kind of instrumental digital didactics. А.The article deals with the methodological basis for providing auditing services on evaluation of efficiency of information systems and technologies for the purpose of their application in practical activity of audit companies and internal control (audit) units aimed at satisfaction of information needs of companies and functional enhancement of their information resources. The basic criteria, data ware, subject and object of audit necessary for drawing up an audit report and assurance declaring are established. The program and the detailed list of auditing procedures for efficiency evaluation of information systems and technologies are presented. У статті запропоновано методичні засади надання аудиторських послуг з оцінюван- ня ефективності інформаційних систем і технологій для застосування в практичній діяльності аудиторських фірм та служб внутрішнього контролю (аудиту) компаній з метою задоволення зростаючих інформаційних потреб компаній та функціональної акти- візації їх інформаційних ресурсів. Встановлено основні критерії, інформаційне забезпечен- ня, предмет та об’єкти аудиторської перевірки, необхідні для формування аудиторського висновку й висловлення впевненості щодо достовірної інформації. Запропоновано програму й детальний перелік аудиторських процедур щодо оцінювання ефективності інформацій- них систем та технологій. В статье предложены методические основы оказания аудиторских услуг по оценке эффективности информационных систем и технологий для применения в практической деятельности аудиторских фирм и служб внутреннего контроля (внутреннего аудита) компаний с целью удовлетворения растущих информационных потребностей компаний и функциональной активизации их информационных ресурсов. Cloud technologies are-effective, efficient and flexible way to satisfy the needs of students during getting of new knowledge.Item Computational Modeling and Structural Stability(2019) Weissblut, A.The structural stability of a mathematical model with respect to small changes is a necessary condition for its correctness. The same condition is also necessary for the applicability of numerical methods, a computational experiment. But after S. Smale’s works it became clear that in smooth dynamics the system of a general form is not structurally stable, therefore there is no strict mathematical basis for modeling and computational analysis of systems. The contradiction appeared in science: according to physicists dynamics is simple and universal. The paper proposes a solution to this problem based on the construction of dynamic quantum models (DQM). DQM is a perturbation of a smooth dynamical system by a Markov cascade (time is discrete). The dynamics obtained in this way are simpler than smooth dynamics: the structurally stable DQM realizations are everywhere dense and open on the set of all DQM realizations. This dynamics in contrast to the classical one has a clear structural theory, which makes it possible to construct effective algorithms for study of concrete systems. For example this paper shows the use of computer simulation for rigorous proof of hyperbolicity of the Henon system attractor. On the other hand, when fluctuations tend to zero, i.e. in the semiclassical limit, the dynamics of the DQM goes into the initial smooth dynamics. О.The article deals with archetypes of information technologies governance, defined as rights and boundaries of responsibility of certain officials or internal departments in conditions of information communication environment of companies. It is offered to add traditional classification of archetypes of IT governance by archetype “Democracy”, which is characterized in accordance of a right to form input data relative to IT-decisions to users – company’s customers. The use of the archetype allows better promotion of new products, and in time-reacting to customer’s requirements to improve product quality and information services. The matrix of IT responsibility, preparation of which is aimed at standardizing of decision-making processes in IT companies, is presented. Drawing matrix of IT responsibility with the help of function performance of familiarization of managers at various levels with IT governance basics will facilitate coordination of their actions. The example of the implemented solutions with the authors description of its components, basic algorithms and used technologies is presented.Item Development of an Electronic Multimedia Interactive Textbook for Physics Study at Technical Universities(2020) Kurylenko, N.; Chernega, P.; Mieniailov, S.; Slipukhina, І.; Bovtruk, A.The article reveals the problem of creating and improving e- textbooks on the example of development of electronic textbook for physics study at technical universities. The disadvantages of e-textbooks based on standard platforms and templates are considered. The problems of using Web technologies for the improvement of such textbooks are discussed. There are numerous platforms and templates for creating electronic textbooks. However, our analysis and experience with such resources showed their inconvenience and inadequacy for the needs of the engineering specialties education because corresponding texts have a large volume, complex structure, contain multilevel cross-content focused both on understanding the fundamental laws and their technical and technological application during engineering activities. Therefore, students find it difficult to navigate in a large amount of material, many equa- tions, massive evidence base, and large graphic material. The presented e-book configuration is created by JavaScript direct pro- gramming. The e-book significantly expands the visibility of the material (color accented graphics, videos, animation, etc.), improves usability (thoughtful intui- tive navigation, one-click equations, tips, etc.) using the capabilities of comput- er technology. It contains a variety of original demo animation, videos, and col- or drawings worked out to the smallest detail. Many convenient hyperlinks are available at the click (pop-up equations, tips, help and additional information). The e-book also optimizes the student’s independent work (examples of de- tailed step-by-step solution of problems, questions for self-testing with hidden answers, etc.). The e-book is offered to students of all technical specialties and all forms of university education. Distance Learning Development requires a consistent solution to a number of important tasks in the field of regulatory, organizational, educational, technical, software and staffing, the interaction of all these elements of the DL system in the implementation of educational programs. One of the most important tasks in organizing distance learning is to define a scalable and viable strategy for creating an information and communication environment. The article presents a review of distance learning literature; the purposes, advantages, disadvantages. The experience of Kherson State University in the use of distance learning was summarized. Particular attention is paid to the implementation features of the KSUONLINE distance learning system developed on the basis of LMS Moodle. The educational courses and webinars were designed to introduce teachers to the principles of creating Distance courses and learn how to ensure effective communication between teachers and students. The research of the level of satisfaction of teachers with seminars to study the capabilities of the distance learning system KSUONLINE was conducted. The main problems associated with the introduction of distance education in Institution of Higher Education are analyzed in this paper. The factors that influence the development of distance learning in universities are identified.Item Dynamic Model of Double Electronic Vickrey Auction(2015) Kobets, V.; Yatsenko, V.; Poltoratskiy, M.The paper deals with different approaches to the definition of e-commerce, including special mechanisms for the distribution of goods and payments, such as auction model. Different formats of auctions that change welfare of their participants are investigated. Software modules were developed for researching the effectivenes of double electronic Vickrey auction. It is defined that in double Vickrey auction incentives for most buyers and sellers are created to reveal their true types. The developed software module of double Vickrey auction showed the highest efficiency in the terms of social welfare among alternative formats and disproved the ability of Vickrey auction to achieve results like market mechanism of perfect competition.
