У роботі проаналізовано важливість патріотичного виховання дітей молодшого шкільного віку, визначені поняття «патріотизм», «патріотичні почуття». Перший розділ дослідження присвячено теоретичним засадам патріотичного виховання. В роботі досліджено історико-логічний аспект патріотичного виховання та механізми формування патріотичних якостей в умовах Нової української школи. Другий розділ висвітлює специфіку використання сучасних форм та методів патріотичного виховання молодших школярів.
The paper analyzes the importance of patriotic education of primary school children, defines the concepts of "patriotism", "patriotic feelings". The first section of the study is devoted to the theoretical foundations of patriotic education. The historical and logical aspect of patriotic education and mechanisms of formation of patriotic qualities in the conditions of the New Ukrainian school are investigated in the work. The second section highlights the specifics of the use of modern forms and methods of patriotic education of primary school children.
