In qualification work, the phenomena of employment and unemployment are disclosed. The social policy of Ukraine in the sphere of employment is revealed. The principles and technologies of social work with the unemployed are revealed. The activity of the State Employment Service is described. Innovative technologies of social work in the sphere of employment are analyzed: the technology of profiling the unemployed population and one of the technologies of youth employment in Ukraine.
