О.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена вивченню мовностилістичних особливостей та характеру основних видів художнього опису (інтер'єр, пейзаж, портрет) як різновидів «вербального живопису» в англійськомовному художньому дискурсі та способам їх відтворення у перекладі. У роботі розглянуто різні підходи до визначення понять «інтер'єр», «пейзаж», «портрет» у руслі філологічних напрямів. The qualifying paper is devoted to the study of linguistic and stylistic features and nature of the main types of artistic descriptions (interior, landscape and portrait) as a kind of “verbal art” in English literary discourse and ways of their translation. Different approaches to defining the concepts “interior”, “landscape” and “portrait” in philological scientific spheres are considered in the project.
