Розглянуто використання існуючих словотворчих засобів англійської мови у процесі складання опису дитячого персонажа. Окрема увага приділяється виявленню мовленнєвих характеристик дитячих персонажів художньої англійськомовної прози. The qualifying paper focuses on the study and identification of linguistic, structural and semantic features of speech characteristics of children's characters in modern English literary prose. The use of existing word-formation way's of the English language in the process of compiling a description of a child's character is considered. Particular attention is paid to identifying the speech characteristics of children's characters in modern English literary prose.
