    Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена проблемі визначення поняття «комікс», а також дослідженню впливу поєднання вербальних і невербальних елементів на процес перекладання. У роботі проаналізовано поєднання вербальних і невербальних елементів та їхню роль у творенні змісту і розумінні коміксів. Крім того, з’ясовано труднощі перекладання коміксів і способи їхнього вирішення на фонологічному, лексичному та стилістичному рівнях. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of comics’ definition as well as to the text-image relationship and its impact on the translation process. The author analyzes the ways in which the verbal and visual modes interact and contribute to the creation of meaning in comics and their perception. It deals with the issues and techniques of comics’ translation at the phonological, lexical, and stylistic levels.

    Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню труднощів перекладання коміксу. У роботі проаналізовано різні визначення поняття «комікс», розглянуто його різновиди й структуру, досліджено поєднання вербальних і невербальних елементів та їхній вплив на процес перекладання, встановлено труднощі перекладання коміксу і способи їхнього вирішення на фонологічному, лексичному та стилістичному рівнях. The primary objective of the qualifying paper is the analysis of selected issues related to the translation of comic books. The author of the paper analyzes different definitions of "comics", considers its types and structure, investigates the text-image relationships as well as their implications in the process of translation. The paper deals with the difficulties and techniques of comics’ translation at the phonological, lexical and stylistic levels.
