В.У роботі досліджено важливість медіаграмотності у протидії дезінформації та фейкам, особливо в умовах сучасної інформаційної війни. Розглянуто географію як навчальний предмет, що сприяє розвитку критичного мислення учнів через аналіз даних, карт і статистики. Запропоновано методичні підходи, зокрема інтерактивні завдання, які допомагають учням оцінювати достовірність інформації. Робота акцентує на практичному використанні медіаграмотності для формування свідомих громадян, здатних розпізнавати маніпуляції у медіапросторі The study investigates the significance of media literacy in countering disinformation and fake news, particularly within the context of contemporary information warfare. Geography is analyzed as an academic subject that contributes to the development of students’ critical thinking skills through data analysis, maps, and statistical evaluation. The study proposes methodological approaches, including interactive tasks, that enable students to assess the reliability of information. В.Зміна форм, способів, цілей обміну стрімкий ріст швидкості обміну інформацією, глобальна інформатизація, спричинили появу інформаційної нерівності - розшарування суспільства за новою ознакою: тих, хто використовує нові інформаційно-комунікаційні реалії для власного розвитку, освіти, спрощення виконання щоденних задач, і тих, хто потрапляє за межі світового процесу й через власне незнання стає об’єктом впливу та маніпуляцій. Саме розвиток медіа- та інформаційної грамотності може подолати цю негативну тенденцію. А оскільки сьогодні молодь є особливо активною і прогресивною у суспільстві тому, саме вони дуже чутливі до суспільно-політичних процесів в країні і рішучі до змін. Changing forms, methods, goals of exchange, rapid growth of information exchange, global informatization, led to the emergence of information inequality - the stratification of society on a new basis: those who use new information and communication realities for their own development, education, simplification of daily tasks, and those who falls outside the world process and through his own ignorance becomes the object of influence and manipulation. It is the development of media and information literacy that can overcome this negative trend. And because today young people are especially active and progressive in society, they are very sensitive to socio-political processes in the country and determined to change.
