    Магістерська робота присвячена дослідженню мовних засобів впливу і маніпуляції у текстах засобів масової інформації. У теоретичній частині розглянуто поняття «мовний вплив» і «мовне маніпулювання» та основні методики аналізу медіатекстів. У практичній частині проаналізовано сучасні тексти американської газети New York Times та новин CNN. У роботі висвітлено специфіку реалізації маніпуляції у медіа текстах досліджуваного матеріалу за допомогою мовних засобів. The research work is devoted to the study of linguistic means of influence and manipulation in mass media texts. In the theoretical part the concepts of "language influence" and "language manipulation" and basic methods of analysis of media texts are considered. In the practical part modern texts of the American newspaper New York Times and CNN news are analyzed. The paper highlights the specifics of language means manipulation in media texts.

Наразі вони переживають етап серйозної конкуренції з новими технологічними можливостями форм отримання та створення інформації. Сучасні засоби масової інформації мають величезний вплив на життя суспільства, на свідомість і уявлення людей. Суспільство постійно потребує отримання нових відомостей про те, що відбувається в світі. Після набуття Україною незалежності, мова ЗМІ зазнає змін в силу розвитку інформаційних технологій і розширення інформаційного простору. У зв’язку з цим переклад інформаційно-новинних текстів знаходить актуальність і значимість. In the conditions of rapid development of technologies and different ways of communication as well as the growing role of information in the life of society information genres in various types of mass media get a special significance. Currently, they are undergoing a stage of serious competition with new technological possibilities of obtaining and creating information. Modern media have a huge impact on society's life, on the minds and perceptions of people. Society is constantly in need of getting new information about what is happening in the world. After Ukraine regained its independence, the media language undergoes changes in the power of information technology development and information space expansion. In this regard, the translation of information and news finds relevance and significance.
