Item ОБРАЗ УКРАЇНЦЯ У КОНТЕКСТІ РОСІЙСЬКО-УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ВІЙНИ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ КАНАДСЬКОГО МЕДІЙНОГО ДИСКУРСУ)(2024) Кузнєцова, Д. О.Дослідження присвячене аналізу образу українця у канадському медійному дискурсі, створеного в умовах російсько-української війни. У роботі розглянуто теоретико-методологічні підходи до формування медійних образів, зокрема аналіз лексико-семантичних і стилістичних засобів їх створення. Особливу увагу приділено репрезентації українців як вимушених переселенців, волонтерів та стійких особистостей. Матеріалом дослідження стали статті провідних канадських видань, таких як CBC, National Post, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. Результати демонструють роль медіа у формуванні суспільної думки про українців і висвітлюють процеси їхньої адаптації у Канаді. / The research is focused on the analysis of the image of a Ukrainian in the Canadian media discourse created in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The research explores theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of media images, including the analysis of lexical, semantic and stylistic means of their creation. Particular attention is paid to the representation of Ukrainians as internally displaced persons, volunteers, and resilient individuals. The research material is based on articles from leading Canadian publications such as CBC, National Post, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. The results demonstrate the role of the media in shaping public opinion about Ukrainians and highlight the processes of their adaptation in Canada.Item СПЕЦИФІКА РЕФЛЕКСІЇ ЕКОЛОГІЧНИХ ПРОБЛЕМ У АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНИХ СУЧАСНИХ ПОЕТИЧНИХ ТЕКСТАХ(2021) Чугунова, Г. О.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена актуальній проблемі лінгвостилістичних особливостей поетичних творів екологічної тематики. У роботі витлумачується поняття теоретичних засадах поетичного тексту та описується лінгвостилістичний аналіз віршів та пісень екологічної тематики, розкрито особливості перекладу поетичних текстів. Розглянуто головні стратегії перекладу поетичних текстів та проаналізовано можливі труднощі, які можуть виникати у перекладача при роботі з такими текстами. The qualifying paper is focused on the problem of linguistic and stylistic features of modern English-language poetic texts of ecological themes. The concept of theoretical foundations of poetic texts and the linguistic and stylistic analysis of poems and songs of ecological themes have been analyzed; the features of translation of poetic texts have been revealed. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of linguocognitive and linguopragmatic features of the use of metaphor in English political discourse (the of case study of translations of modern political speeches into Ukrainian). В.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена проблемі лінгвокогнітивного потенціалу метафори в художньому тексті (на прикладі перекладу роману Дж.Р.Р.Толкіна «Хоббіт, або туди і звідти» українською мовою). У роботі окреслено жанрові особливості роману Дж.Р.Р. Толкіна «Хоббіт, або туди і звідти»; розглянуто і уточнено теоретичні основи лінгвокогнітивного дослідження метафор в оригінальному тексті і його перекладах; визначено понятійно-термінологічний апарат дослідження в рамках теорії когнітивної метафори; виділено в тексті досліджуваного роману метафори і зіставлено їх з перекладацькими трансформаціями, виявленими в тексті перекладу. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of the linguocognitive potential of metaphor in a literary text (the case study of the translation of JRR Tolkien's novel "The Hobbit, or there and there" in Ukrainian). The genre features of the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit, or there and there"; the theoretical bases of linguocognitive research of metaphors in the original text and its translations are considered and specified; the conceptual and terminological apparatus of research within the framework of the theory of cognitive metaphor is determined; highlighted in the text of the studied novel metaphors and compared them with the translation transformations found in the text of the translation.Item ВЕРБАЛІЗАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ UKRAINE В АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНИХ ЗМІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ ПЕРЕКЛАДІВ ТЕКСТІВ ЗМІ УКРАЇНСЬКОЮ МОВОЮ)(2020) Артюхова, О. Г.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена проблемі вербалізації концепту UKRAINE в англійськомовних ЗМІ (на матеріалі перекладів текстів ЗМІ українською мовою). У роботі систематизувано існуючі визначення поняття «лінгвокультурний концепт; визначено структуру лінгвокультурного концепту UKRAINE; встановлено і охарактеризовано основні мовні одиниці, що об'єктивують лінгвокультурний концепт UKRAINE в англійськомовних текстах ЗМІ; виявлено подібні та ціннісні характеристики лінгвокультурного концепту UKRAINE в рамках дискурсу ЗМІ. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of verbalization of the concept UKRAINE in English-language media (based on the translation of media texts into Ukrainian). At work the existing definitions of the concept “linguistic and cultural concept are defined; the structure of the linguistic and cultural concept of UKRAINE is determined; the main language units that objectify the linguistic and cultural concept of UKRAINE in English-language media texts are identified and characterized; similar and value characteristics of the linguistic and cultural concept of UKRAINE within the media discourse are revealed.Item АЛЮЗІЯ В ЛІТЕРАТУРНИХ КАЗКАХ А.С. БАЄТТ(2020) Ляхно, А. О.Робота присвячена вивченню алюзії в літературних казках А.С. Баєтт. У роботі визначено сучасні підходи до вивчення інтертекстуальності; розкрито сутність алюзії як інтертекстуального прийому; охарактеризовано основні лінгвістичні особливості сучасної літературної казки; розглянуто алюзійні включення у казці А. С. Баєтт «Джин у пляшці зі скла «Солов’їне око»; проаналізовано алюзії у творі А. С. Баєтт «Дитяча казка». Дослідження показало, що певну частку алюзійних включень займають псевдоінтертекстуальні та інтерфігуральні алюзії, більшість алюзивних включень є імпліцитними. The work is devoted to the study of allusion in the literary tales by A. S. Byatt. The paper identifies modern approaches to the study of intertextuality; the essence of allusion as an intertextual reception is revealed; the main linguistic features of a modern literary tale are characterized; allusive inclusions in the fairy tales by A. S. Byatt " The Djinn in the Nightingale's Eye " are considered; allusions in the work of A.S Byatt " The Children's Book " are analyzed. The investigation has proved, that pseudointertextual and interfigural allusions occupy a certain share of allusive inclusions, most allusive inclusions are implicit.Item ВІДТВОРЕННЯ ПРАГМАТИЧНОЇ СКЛАДОВОЇ ПРИ ПЕРЕКЛАДАННІ ПРОМОВ ДОНАЛЬДА ТРАМПА УКРАЇНСЬКОЮ МОВОЮ(2020) Пічугова, А. У роботі окреслено особливості відтворення політичних текстів як перекладацьку проблему; розкрито специфіку жанру політичної промови; досліджено прагматичний потенціал промов Д.Трампа та стилістичних засобів, що використовує політик; визначено головні тенденції перекладу промов Д.Трампа. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of reproducing the pragmatic component in the Ukrainian translations of Donald Trump's speeches. The peculiarities of political texts as a translation problem are outlined; the specifics of the genre of political speech are revealed; the pragmatic potential of Trump's speeches and stylistic means used by the politician are revealed; the main trends in the translation of Trump's speeches are determined.Item ЛІНГВОПРАГМАТИЧНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ТА БРИТАНСЬКОЇ ПРЕСИ(2020) Колінько, В. І.Кваліфікаційна робота складається зі вступу, двох розділів, висновків, додатку та списку використаних джерел. Загальний обсяг роботи становить 98 сторінок. Об’єктом досліджень є українська та британська преса. Предметом дослідження є лінгвопрагматичні особливості української та британської преси. Метою кваліфікаційної роботи є дослідження лінгвопрагматичних особливостей української та британської преси. В першому розділі кваліфікаційної роботи висвітлено питання історії появи преси України та Великобританії, визначено функціональні стилі, розкрито поняття «газетний текст» та досліджено газету як вид періодичних видань. У другому розділі досліджено лінгвопрагматичні характеристики мови текстів української та британської преси, проведено порівняльний аналіз лінгвопргматичних особливостей української та британської періодики. У кваліфікаційній роботі представлені висновки щодо особливостей української та британської медіа. Проведений аналіз лінгвопрагматичних характеристик української та британської періодики. Порівнявши тексти, ми дійшли висновку, що британські тексти відрізняються більшою образною забарвленістю, використанням широкого спектра стилістичних засобів, таких як метафора, епітети, алюзивні епітети, «зіркова» лексика в текстах культурно – мистецької тематики. Українські тексти характеризуються більшою стриманістю, вужчим діапазоном мовних метафор, меншою кількістю ключових лексем. Спостерігається деформалізація стилістичного тону, зсув у бік розмовної лексики та лексики зниженого стилю. Qualification work consists of an introduction, two sections, conclusions and a list of sources used. The total volume of the work is 97 pages. The object of research is the Ukrainian and British press. The subject of the research is the lingual and pragmatic features of the Ukrainian and British press. The purpose of the qualification work is to study the linguistic and pragmatic features of the Ukrainian and British press. The first section of the qualification work covers the history of the press of Ukraine and Great Britain, defines functional styles, reveals the concept of "newspaper text" and explores the newspaper as a type of periodicals. In the second section the lingual and pragmatic characteristics of the texts of the Ukrainian and British press are investigated, the linguistic comparative analysis of lingual and pragmatic features of the Ukrainian and British press is carried out. The qualification work presents conclusions on the peculiarities of the Ukrainian and British press. The analysis of linguistic-pragmatic characteristics of the Ukrainian and British press is carried out. Comparing the texts of the British and Ukrainian press, we came to the conclusion that British texts are more figurative, using a wide range of stylistic devices, such as metaphors, epithets, allusive epithets, "star" vocabulary in cultural and artistic texts. Ukrainian texts are characterized by greater restraint, a narrower range of linguistic metaphors, fewer key tokens. There is a deformation of the stylistic tone, a shift towards colloquial vocabulary and vocabulary of low style.
