The qualifing paper is devoted to the topical problem of functional and stylistic features of aviation terminology. The paper defines the functional and stylistic specifics of terminology; the concept of terminology in linguistic research is investigated; difficulties in translating aviation terminology were revealed; features of translation of aviation terminology are characterized.Item СТРУКТУРНО-СЕМАНТИЧНА ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКА ТЕРМІНІВ МАРКЕТИНГУ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ СУЧАСНОЇ АНГЛІЙСЬКОЇ МОВИ)(2020) Орлова, Д. О.У роботі досліджено мовні й мовленнєві одиниці, зокрема терміни, що функціонують у галузі маркетингу. Терміносистеми різних галузей знань залишаються неоднаково вивченими. Таку різницю пояснюють розбіжністю у темпі становлення різних сфер діяльності людини. Серед перших розвиваються наука і техніка, економіка та фінанси, адже ці галузі більш активно задіяні суспільством, перманентно оновлюються, визначаючи поетапні зміни в соціумі. Так, на стадії розробки перебуває одна з груп сучасних терміносистем – термінологія маркетингу. The paper investigates language and speech units, in particular terms that function in the field of marketing. Terminological systems of different fields of knowledge remain unequally studied. This difference is explained by the difference in the rate of formation of different areas of human activity. Among the first to develop are science and technology, economics and finance, because these industries are more actively involved in society, constantly updated, determining the gradual changes in society. Thus, one of the groups of modern terminology systems is under development – marketing terminology.Item СПЕЦИФІКА РОБОТИ ПЕРЕКЛАДАЧА У СФЕРІ СУДНОБУДІВНИЦТВА(2020) Соловйов, Н. А.Проблема перекладу термінологічних одиниць з англійської мови на українську була й залишається однією з найактуальніших у сучасному перекладознавстві. В рамках цієї роботи розглянуто і вивчено терміносистему суднобудівничої галузі, а саме, побудова термінів шляхом запозичення з англійської та переклад безеквівалентної лексики. Обґрунтовано методичні підходи щодо взаємодії перекладача із терміносистемою у сфері суднобудівництва; проаналізовано основні компетенції перекладача у сфері професійного перекладу та визначено специфіку реалізації перекладацьких компетенцій під час роботи на реальному підприємстві. The problem of terminological units’ translation from English into Ukrainian has been and remains one of the most pressing in modern translation studies. In terms of this paper, the terminology of ship building industry is considered and studied, namely, the construction of terms by borrowing from English and the translation of non-equivalent vocabulary. Methodical approaches to the translator’s interaction with the system of terminology in the field of ship building are substantiated; the main competences of a translator in the field of professional translation are analyzed and the specifics of the implementation of translation competences while working at a real enterprise are determined.Item АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНІ ЮРИДИЧНІ ТЕРМІНИ: СПЕЦИФІКА ВІДТВОРЕННЯ УКРАЇНСЬКОЮ МОВОЮ(2020) Давиденко, Є. М.Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на висвітлення теоретико-методологічних основ аналізу термінів: сутності поняття «термін», аналізу визначення терміна за формою та змістом, наукових підходів до вивчення терміна. У роботі розглядаються способи і прийоми перекладу юридичних термінів: узагальнено визначення, загальні ознаки та класифікації юридичних термінів, здійснено аналіз способів і прийомів перекладу юридичних термінів, описано особливості та труднощі процесу відтворення юридичних термінів українською мовою. The qualifing paper is focused on studying the theoretical and methodological basis of analysis of the «term» definition: the essence of the term, the analysis of «term» definition by its form and content, scientific approaches of term studying. This paper deals with methods and techniques of legal terms translation: definitions, common features and classifications of legal terms are generalized, analysis of methods and techniques of legal terms translation are carried out, peculiarities and difficulties of legal terms reproduction in Ukrainian are described.Item СТРУКТУРНО-СЕМАНТИЧНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ МИСТЕЦТВОЗНАВЧИХ ТЕРМІНІВ ТА ТРУДНОЩІ ЇХ ПЕРЕКЛАДАННЯ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ АНГЛІЙСЬКОЇ ТА УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ МОВ)(2020) Пилипчук, В. В.У кваліфікаційній роботі розглянуто структуру та номінацію понять мистецтвознавчої термінологічної системи, основні способи перекладу термінів та особливості утворення термінів мистецтвознавства. У ході проведеного аналізу ми виділили та обґрунтували основні способи та труднощі перекладу мистецтвознавчих термінів. У процесі роботи було наведено приклади використання та практичні механізми виконання основних способів перекладу термінів, а також складено порівняльну таблицю перекладу термінів електронними словниками та перекладачем методом транскрипції та транслітерації. The qualifying paper considers the structure and nomination of the concepts of the arts terminological system and the specificities of the formation of the terms of art science. In the course of our analysis the main ways and difficulties of translating arts terms have been identified. In the course of the paper, examples of the use and practical mechanisms of the main methods of translation of terms were presented, and a comparative table of the translation of terms by electronic dictionaries and a translator by transcription and transliteration was created.
