Розкрито теоретичні основи інновацій, визначено механізми їх впливу на економіку, проаналізовано міжнародний досвід інноваційного розвитку. Здійснено оцінку інноваційного потенціалу України на основі міжнародних рейтингів, а також визначено проблеми та перспективи впровадження інновацій у Південному регіоні. Обґрунтовано стратегічні напрями розвитку регіону через активне впровадження інноваційних технологій у ключові галузі. Надано практичні рекомендації для вдосконалення інноваційної політики на регіональному рівні. This qualification thesis investigates the impact of innovations on the economic development of Ukraine, with a focus on the Southern region. It explores the theoretical foundations of innovation, outlines the mechanisms of their economic influence, and analyzes international experience in innovation-driven growth. The study evaluates Ukraine’s innovation potential using global rankings and identifies both the challenges and prospects of implementing innovations in the Southern region. Strategic directions for regional development through the integration of innovative technologies in key sectors are substantiated. Practical recommendations are provided to enhance regional innovation policy.
