| dc.description.abstract | Дослідження присвячене аналізу особливостей українського капеланства ХХ століття та його відображення у шкільному курсі історії. Автор розглядає капеланство як важливе явище на перетині духовного, військового та державотворчого життя українського народу. Особливу увагу приділено становленню інституту військового духовенства в різні історичні періоди – від національно-визвольних змагань 1917–1921 рр. до відродження капеланської служби в умовах незалежної України. У роботі проаналізовано роль українських капеланів у збереженні морального духу війська, підтримці національної ідентичності та формуванні духовних цінностей суспільства. Окремо розглянуто, як тема капеланства представлена у шкільних програмах і підручниках з історії України, наскільки вона сприяє формуванню у старшокласників розуміння взаємозв’язку між релігією, патріотизмом і громадянською відповідальністю. Результати дослідження засвідчують необхідність ширшого висвітлення теми українського капеланства у шкільному курсі історії як складової духовно-морального виховання молоді та важливого елементу сучасної історичної освіти. The research is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of Ukrainian chaplaincy in the 20th century and its representation in the school history curriculum. The author examines chaplaincy as an important phenomenon at the intersection of spiritual, military, and state-building aspects of Ukrainian national life. Particular attention is paid to the formation and development of the institution of military clergy during various historical periods — from the national liberation struggles of 1917–1921 to the revival of chaplaincy service in independent Ukraine. The study analyzes the role of Ukrainian chaplains in maintaining the moral spirit of the army, supporting national identity, and shaping the spiritual values of society. Special consideration is given to how the topic of chaplaincy is presented in school curricula and history textbooks, and to what extent it contributes to fostering students’ understanding of the relationship between religion, patriotism, and civic responsibility. The findings of the research highlight the need for broader inclusion of the topic of Ukrainian chaplaincy in the school history course as an integral component of the spiritual and moral education of youth and an important element of contemporary historical education. | |
