А.У роботі розглядається проблема вибору шляхів, способів та методів формування математичної компетентності учнів через впровадження в освітній процес історико-математичного матеріалу. Проаналізовано навчальні програми та дидактичний супровід з математики щодо включення в них історичного матеріалу; зроблено класифікацію категорії історико-математичної інформації як засобу активізації навчально-пізнавальної діяльності молодших школярів; . досліджено стан використання вчителями історико-математичного матеріалу для формування математичних компетентностей учнів; розроблено методичні рекомендації щодо використання історичного матеріалу під час вивчення математики. The paper considers the problem of choosing ways, methods and techniques of forming mathematical competence of students support in mathematics on the inclusion of historical material in them are analyzed; the classification of the category of historical and mathematical information as a means of activating the educational and cognitive activities of junior schoolchildren is made; . the state of teachers' use of historical and mathematical material for the formation of mathematical competencies of students is studied; methodical through the introduction of historical and mathematical material in the educational process. Curricula and didactic recommendations on the use of historical material in the study of mathematics have been developed.
