І.Дипломна робота присвячена теоретичному обґрунтуванню та практичному впровадженню краєзнавчого гуртка як засобу формування географічних компетентностей учнів основної школи. У роботі досліджено поняття географічної компетентності, її складові та значення в сучасному освітньому процесі. Особлива увага приділена методиці організації краєзнавчого гуртка, розроблено навчальну програму та визначено ефективні форми роботи (екскурсії, проєкти, дослідження). Практична частина містить приклади занять та краєзнавчих заходів, що сприяють розвитку критичного мислення, дослідницьких і соціальних навичок. Дослідження підтверджує, що впровадження краєзнавчої діяльності позитивно впливає на рівень географічної обізнаності, громадянської позиції та екологічної свідомості школярів. The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the theoretical justification and practical implementation of a local history club as a means of developing geographical competencies among secondary school students. The paper explores the concept of geographical competence, its components and significance in the modern educational process. Special attention is paid to the methodology of organizing a local history club, a curriculum is developed, and effective forms of work are defined (excursions, projects, research). The practical section includes examples of classes and local history activities that contribute to the development of critical thinking, research and social skills. The study confirms that the implementation of local history activities positively influences the level of geographical awareness, civic position, and environmental consciousness of schoolchildren.
