У роботі було дано поняття «водного туризму», а саме зазначено, що водний туризм – це вид спортивно-оздоровчого туризму, який ґрунтується на подоланні маршруту за допомогою спеціальних плавзасобів та споряджень на водній поверхні або під водою. Визначені види водного туризму. Крім того, були досліджені особливості організації та ресурсний потенціал водного туризму України. Також була досліджена географія та тенденції розвитку водного туризму. Особлива увагу була приділена проблемним питанням і перспективам розвитку водного туризму. Abstract. The work is devoted to the study of the current state and prospects for the development of water tourism in Ukraine. In the work, the concept of "water tourism" was given, namely, it was stated that water tourism is a type of sports and health tourism, which is based on overcoming the route with the help of special watercraft and equipment on the water surface or under water. Identified types of water tourism. In addition, the peculiarities of the organization and resource potential of water tourism in Ukraine were investigated. The geography and development trends of water tourism were also studied. Special attention was paid to problematic issues and prospects for the development of water tourism.
