    У кваліфікаційній роботі теоретичним обґрунтуванням є ролі естетичного виховання розвитку дітей із затримкою психічного розвитку. Описано специфіку впливу мистецтва на всебічний розвиток дитини. Розвинене почуття прекрасного досягло високого ступеня розвитку, вміння відрізняти гарне від неестетичного багато в чому визначає поведінку людини і в школі, і на роботі, під час відпочинку, і в сім'ї. Естетичне виховання сприймається як розвиток і поліпшення у людині здатність до правильного розуміння, оцінки та створення прекрасного у житті й мистецтві, активну участь у творчості, творення за законами краси. In the qualification work, the theoretical justification is the role of aesthetic education of the development of children with mental retardation. The article describes the specifics of the influence of art on the comprehensive development of the child.A developed sense of beauty has reached a high degree of development, the ability to distinguish the good from the unsightly largely determines a person's behavior at school, at work, during recreation, and in the family. Aesthetic education is perceived as the development and improvement of a person's ability to correctly understand, evaluate and create beauty in life and art, active participation in creativity, creation according to the laws of beauty.
