The paper characterizes the cognitive processes of junior schoolchildren, establishes the role of independent work in activating the cognitive activity of junior schoolchildren, identifies ways to enhance the cognitive activity of junior schoolchildren. С.У роботі розглянута проблема формування навичок самостійної роботи під час розв’язування сюжетних задач. Автором розглянуто види і форми самостійної роботи у початковій школі, визначено дидактичні принципи організації самостійної роботи молодших школярів, розроблено комплекс вправ для формування навичок самостійної роботи під час вивчення теми «Прості задачі». The paper considers the problem of developing skills of independent work in solving plot problems. The author considers the types and forms of independent work in primary school, determines the didactic principles of organizing independent work of junior students, developed a set of exercises for the formation of skills of independent work while studying the topic "Simple tasks".
