О.У роботі розкрито сутність усного мовлення як форми мовленнєвої діяльності; здійснено аналіз сучасних досліджень проблеми розвитку усного мовлення здобувачів початкової освіти; виявлено переваги сторітелінгу в освітньому процесі НУШ; з’ясовано специфіку діагностування рівня сформованості умінь і навичок учнів початкових класів складати усні висловлювання; методику формування усного мовлення молодших школярів через основні структурні компоненти сторітелінгу. The essence of oral speech as a form of speech activity is revealed in the work; the analysis of modern researches of a problem of development of oral speech of applicants of primary education is carried out; the advantages of storytelling in the educational process of NUS are revealed; the specifics of diagnosing the level of formation of skills and abilities of primary school students to compose oral expressions are clarified; methods of forming oral speech of junior schoolchildren through the main structural components of storytelling.
