ЛІНГВОКУЛЬТУРОЛОГІЧНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ АВСТРАЛІЙСЬКИХ КАЗКОВИХ НАРАТИВІВ: КОРПУСНИЙ АНАЛІЗ

Наукове дослідження присвячено тенденції до вивчення, аналізу лінгвістичними студіями етноспецифіки та культурологічної індивідуальності художніх текстів австралійської лінгвокультури. Матеріалом для дослідження постають австралійські казкові етнонаративи у лінгвокультурному вимірі на прикладі казок і оповідань найпопулярнійших австралійських письменників : серія коротких оповіданнь Дороті Волл “Blinky Bill” («Блінкі Білл»), книга Нормана Ліндсей «The Magic Pudding» («Чарівний пудинг»), збірка казок Мей Гіббс «The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie» («Казки про Снаглпот і Кадлпай:їх дивовижні пригоди»). У роботі зˈясовано низку екстралінгвістичних факторів, що вплинули на становлення і формування австралійської літературної традиції; визначено поняття «національно-культурна специфіка»; зміст понять «етнохронотоп», «лінгвокультура», «реалія», «етноспецифіка», «літературна казки», «етнокультурні смисли», «лінгвістичний текстовий корпус». У науковому дослідженні здійснено комплексний аналіз сюжетно-композиційних засобів втілення етнокультурної специфіки обраних літературних казок, лексичних одиниць, реалій. The scientific research is devoted to the tendency of studying, analysis of ethnospecific and culturological individuality of fiction texts of Australian linguoculture by linguistic studios. The scientific research is based on Australian fairytale ethnonratives in the linguistic cultural dimension, using fairy tales and stories from popular Australian writers: Dorothy Wall's short story series "Blinky Bill", Norman Lindsay's book "The Magic Pudding", May Gibbs' collection of fairy tales "The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie: Their Amazing Adventures". The scientific research investigates extralinguistic factors that influenced the creation and formation of the Australian literary tradition; defines the meaning of the concept of "national-cultural specificity"; the content of the concepts of "ethnochronotope", "linguoculture", "reality", "ethnospecificity", "literary fairy tale", "ethnocultural meanings", "linguistic textual corpus". The scientific research contains a complex analysis of the of the subject and composition means that embody the ethnocultural specificity of selected literary fairy tales, lexical units, and realities.

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена вивченню особливостей відтворення кінотекстів, що вимагає адекватного перекладу ядерних для них типів професійної лексики, до яких відносимо й корпоративну. У роботі надається характеристика юридичного дискурсу і висвітлюються особливості його відтворення в перекладі; окреслюються лексико-стилістичні особливості перекладу юридичних текстів; досліджуються лексико-стилістичні особливості відтворення корпоративності в українсьмовному перекладі серіалу «Suits». The thesis is devoted to study of the peculiarities of the reproduction of film texts, which requires adequate translation of nuclear types of professional vocabulary for them, which include corporate. The paper provides a description of legal discourse and highlights the features of its reproduction in translation; lexical and stylistic features of translation of legal texts are outlined; lexical and stylistic features of the reproduction of corporatism in the Ukrainian translation of the series "Suits" are studied.
СТРУКТУРНО-СЕМАНТИЧНА ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКА НЕОЛОГІЗМІВ У СУЧАСНІЙ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНІЙ МОЛОДІЖНІЙ ПРЕСІ

Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено процесам утворення й поширення мовних новотворів, особливості їх мовленнєвого вжитку, характеру й динаміці мовних процесів у сучасній англійськомовній пресі, адже основний масив неологізмів фіксується сьогодні саме у сфері засобів масової комунікації. Тексти ЗМІ представляють одну з форм сучасної мови, що розвивається найбільш активно, а чисельність неологізмів у них набагато перевищує загальний обсяг мовленнєвого вжитку в інших сферах діяльності. При цьому, корпус медіатекстів постійно збільшується, про що, зокрема, свідчить поява нових англійськомовних газет і журналів, які відповідають інтересам різних вікових, професійних і соціальних груп. Особливо динамічно розвивається молодіжна преса. The qualifying paper focuses on the processes of formation and dissemination of language innovations, features of their speech use, nature and dynamics of language processes in the modern English-language press, because the main array of neologisms is recorded today in the field of mass media. Media texts are one of the most active forms of modern language, and the number of neologisms in them far exceeds the total volume of speech use in other areas. At the same time, the body of media texts is constantly increasing, as evidenced, in particular, by the emergence of new English-language newspapers and magazines that meet the interests of different age, professional and social groups. The youth press is developing especially dynamically.
МУЛЬТИМОДАЛЬНЕ КОНСТРУЮВАННЯ ХУДОЖНІХ ТЕКСТІВ ДЛЯ ДІТЕЙ: КОРПУСНЕ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ

Наукове дослідження присвячено вивченню мультимодального конструювання та корпусного дослідження англомовних художніх текстів для дітей. Матеріалом вивчення постають сучасні казкові наративи із доповненою реальністю та дигітальні відеонаративи на прикладі казок Льюїса Керролла «Аліса в Країні Див» та «Аліса в Задзеркаллі» та оригінал казки ‘‘Alice in Wonderland’’. У роботі з’ясовано специфіку їхнього мультимодального та наративного конструювання за допомогою корпусного аналізу, а також виявлено особливості художнього часу та простору у наративному тексті. У науковому доробку визначено принципи взаємодії вербальних та невербальних семіотичних модусів у конструюванні мультимодальних наративів. The research focuses on revealing the specificity of multimodal construction and corpus research of the Anglophone literary texts for children. A case study of the research are modern fairy-tale narratives with augmented reality and digital video narratives, which serve as digitalized versions of Lewis Carroll's fairy tales "Alice In Wonderland" and "Alice Through the Looking Glass" in comparison with their Ukrainian and English translation. The specificity of their multimodal and narrative construction is characterized in the scientific paper with the help of corpus analysis, as well as it reveals the features of literary time and space in the narrative text. The peculiarities of the intersemiotic interaction of verbal and nonverbal semiotic modes in the construction of multimodal narratives have been also revealed.
Лінгвостилістична специфіка медіажанру «Новини» в англійськомовних інтернет-ЗМІ (на матеріалі медіатекстів новин науки та «гарячих» новин)

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на вивчення та опис лінгвостилістичної специфіки медіажанру «Новини», які презентовані медіатекстами новин науки та «гарячих» новин. У роботі чітко відстежується щільний зв’язок між мовленнєвим жанром, функціональним стилем і дискурсом. Медіажанр «Новини» знайомить читача / глядача з новою інформацією, яка орієнтує його у напрямку світового науково-технічного прогресу (новини науки), з одного боку, а з іншого – висвітлює пріоритетність компетентного осмислення сенсаційної проблеми та аналізує її («гарячі» новини). Проаналізовано медіатексти новин науки та «гарячих» новин у руслі їхнього змістовного, структурного та вербального навантаження. The qualifying paper is oriented on a study and description of linguistic and stylistic specificity of media genre “News” that is presented by media texts of science news and “breaking” news. The paper outlines deep connection between a speech genre, functional style and discourse. The media genre "News" acquaints the reader / viewer with new information that orients him in the direction of world scientific and technological progress (science news) and highlights the priority of competent understanding of the sensational problem and analyzes it ("breaking" news). Media texts of science news and "breaking" news in line with their content, structural and verbal load are analyzed.
ЗАСОБИ РЕПРЕЗЕНТАЦІЇ СУМНІВУ В АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНОМУ ХУДОЖНЬОМУ ДИСКУРСІ

Кваліфікаційну роботу зорієнтовано на вивчення засобів репрезентації категорії сумніву в англійськомовному художньому дискурсі. Сумнів розглядається як специфічне переживання людини, що виникає в процесі її розумової діяльності, найважливіша складова ментального й емоційного стану, оскільки має двоїсту психічну природу: з одного боку, сумнів носить деструктивний, руйнівний характер, а з іншого – продуктивний, що стимулює розвиток і вдосконалення людини. Це – неодмінний супутник психологічних переживань мовної особистості, постійна і невичерпна тема життєопису персонажів, традиційний об’єкт творчих інтерпретацій у художніх текстах. Метою кваліфікаційної роботи є комплексне дослідження категорії сумніву в англійськомовному художньому дискурсі. У роботі схарактеризовано основні наукові підходи до розуміння сутності категорії сумніву в лінгвістиці, філософії, психології; встановлено її зв’язок з іншими категоріями; виявлено й описано прототипову ситуацію сумніву й конструкцію для її вираження в сучасній англійській мові; визначено й систематизовано засоби репрезентації категорії сумніву в англійськомовному художньому дискурсі. The qualifying paper focuses on the linguistic study of the category of doubt in English belles-lettres discourse. Doubt is considered as a specific human experience that arises in the process of their mental activity, the most important component of mental and emotional state. It has a dual mental nature: on the one hand, doubt is destructive, and on the other – productive, which stimulates human development and improvement. It is an indispensable companion of linguistic personality’s psychological experiences, a traditional object of creative interpretations in literary texts. The aim of the study is a comprehensive consideration of the category of doubt in English belles-lettres discourse. In the given paper the main scientific approaches to understanding the essence of the category of doubt in linguistics, philosophy and psychology are characterized; its connection with other categories is established; the prototype situation of doubt and the construction for its expression in modern English are identified and described; the means of representation of this category in English-language belles-lettres discourse are systematized and given a detailed account.
ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ПЕРЕКЛАДАННЯ ГРАФІЧНИХ ТЕКСТІВ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ АМЕРИКАНСЬКИХ КОМІКСІВ)

Наукове дослідження присвячено вивченню особливостей перекладу графічних текстів на основі американських коміксів.. Матеріалом вивчення постають сучасні американські комікси на прикладі «Teenage mutant ninja turtles», «X-men», «Avengers», «Batman VS Superman», «Futurama», «The Simpsons». У роботі досліджено специфіку англомовного коміксу на багатьох рівнях: лексики, граматики, синтаксису і фонетики. У науковому доробку визначено принципи взаємодії вербальних та невербальних компонентів коміксу, та особливості їх взаємодії при перекладанні. The research is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the translation of graphic texts based on American comics. The study material is modern american comics on the example of "Teenage mutant ninja turtles", "X-men", "Avengers", "Batman VS Superman", "Futurama", The Simpsons ». The case examines the specifics of English comics on many levels: vocabulary, grammar, syntax and phonetics. The scientific work defines the principles of interaction of verbal and nonverbal components of comics, and the peculiarities of their interaction in translation.

Кваліфікаційна робота пов’язана з дослідженням особливостей реалізації сленгових одиниць у художньому творі «Провина зірок» Дж. Гріна. Молодіжна субкультура є особливим соціокультурним феноменом і характеризується такими елементами, як певні цінності і орієнтації, специфічні норми і зразки поведінки учасників субкультурної групи. У кваліфікаційній роботі вивчається сленг як мовне явище. Предметом розгляду виступає реалізація сленгових одиниць у художньому творі «Провина зірок» Дж. Гріна. У даному проєкті, розкрито сутність сленгу в контексті сучасної лінгвістики; розглянуто класифікаційні ознаки сленгу та джерела його формування; проаналізовано сленгізми у художньому творі Джона Гріна «Провина зірок». The topic of the thesis is related to the study of the peculiarities of the realization of slang units in the work of art "The fault of the stars" by J. Green. Youth subculture is a special socio-cultural phenomenon and is characterized by such elements as certain values and orientations, specific norms and patterns of behavior of members of the subcultural group. The object of the thesis is slang as a linguistic phenomenon. The subject of consideration is the realization of slang units in the work of art "The fault of the stars" by J. Green. In this paper, the essence of slang in the context of modern linguistics is revealed; the classification features of slang and sources of its formation are considered; slangisms in John Green's work "The Fault of the Stars" are analyzed.
ВЕРБАЛІЗАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ ВЛАДА В СУЧАСНОМУ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНОМУ РОМАНІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ РОМАНУ ДЖОРДЖА МАРТІНА «ГРА ПРЕСТОЛІВ»)

Концепт - це складний для визначення термін в сучасній лінгвістиці, що розглядається в різних напрямках, відповідно має різні класифікації і методи дослідження. Робота присвячена дослідженню концепту ВЛАДА у фентезійному творі Дж. Мартіна "Гра престолів" і відтворенню структури цього концепту за допомогою лексичних засобів, які використовував автор. В роботі також проведено дослідження етимологічних, дефініційних, синонімічних словників з метою аналізу ключового слова-репрезентанта, а також побудоване номінативне поле концепту. Concept is a hard defined term in modern linguistics, considered in different directions, respectively, having different classifications and research methods. The work is devoted to the study of the concept of POWER in the fantasy work of J. Martin "Game of Thrones" and the reconstruction of the structure of this concept using the lexical means used by the author. There was also conducted a study of etymological and synonym dictionaries in order to analyze the keyword-representative as well as the construction of nominative field of the concept.
ЗАСОБИ ВИРАЖЕННЯ КОМУНІКАТИВНИХ ТАБУ В БРИТАНСЬКІЙ ЛІНГВОКУЛЬТУРІ

Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено дослідженню функціонування комунікативних табу в британському лінгвокультурному співтоваристві. Системне дослідження комунікативної поведінки народу передбачає опис прийнятих у цій лінгвокультурній спільноті комунікативних табу, що являють собою традиції, правила й установки уникнення певних вербальних і невербальних елементів комунікативної поведінки. Мета кваліфікаційної роботи полягає у виявленні й системному описі засобів вираження комунікативних табу, що є характерними для англійськомовної лінгвокультурної спільноти. У роботі розглянуто поняття комунікативного етикету в структурі нормативної комунікативної поведінки; систематизовано наявні підходи до розуміння і визначення феномена табу; описано його класифікації і функції; з’ясовано способи вираження комунікативних табу (вербальні, невербальні, тематичні) в британській лінгвокультурі. The qualifying paper focuses on the study of communicative taboos functioning in the British linguistic culture. A systematic study of people’s communicative behavior provides a description of the communicative taboos accepted in this linguistic and cultural community and described as traditions and rules of avoid certain verbal and nonverbal elements of communicative behavior. The aim of the work is to identify and describe the means of expression of communicative taboos in British linguistic culture. In the given paper the concept of communicative etiquette in the structure of standard communicative behavior is considered; existing approaches to understanding and defining the phenomenon of taboos are systematized; classifications and functions of taboos are described; ways of expressing communicative taboos (verbal, non-verbal and thematic) in British linguistic culture are clarified.
ЕВФЕМІЗМИ ТА ДІСФЕМІЗМИ У ПУБЛІЦИСТИЧНОМУ ДИСКУРСІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ АНГЛОМОВНИХ СТАТЕЙ ПРИСВЯЧЕНИХ COVID-19)

У роботі подано теоретичні основи евфемізмів та дісфемізмів, розглянуто сутність публіцистичного стилю та розкрито поняття дискурсу; Було встановлено визачення евфемізмів і їх найпопулярніші функції використання. Подано класифікацію відповідно до семантичного, тематичного принципу. Ми встановили, що в рамках публіцистичного дискурсу дісфемізм відіграє роль стилістичного пристрою. Вони допомагають автору показати емоційний стан персонажа, висловити його установки та цінності. Це унікальна функція дісфемізмів, яка не властива іншим типам дискурсу. А також розглянули класифікацію дісфемізмів за морфологічним принципом та нaвели приклади із статтей про COVID-19. The article presents the theoretical foundations of euphemisms and dysphemisms, considers the essence of publicistic style and reveals the concept of discourse; It has been established thae meaning of euphemisms and their most popular functions. The classification according to the semantic, thematic principle is given. We have found that within the framework of publicistic discourse, dysphemism plays the role of a stylistic device. They help the author to show the emotional state of the character, to express his attitudes and values. This is a unique function of dysphemisms that is not inherent in other types of discourse. We also considered the classification of dysphemisms according to the morphological principle and gave examples from articles about COVID-19.
СТРУКТУРНА ТА МОВНА ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНОГО ДИСКУРСУ НОВИН

Кваліфікаційну роботу присвячено вивченню проблем англійськомовного дискурсу новин, зокрема комплексному аналізу структурного та мовного планів новинного дискурсу мережі «Інтернет». Інтенсивний розвиток телекомунікаційних технологій протягом останніх років ХХІ століття стає причиною появи й розвитку електронних засобів масової інформації. ЗМІ завжди відігравали важливу роль у житті суспільства, визначаючи як загальний стиль подачі інформації, так і мовне оформлення того чи іншого видання. Аудиторія інтернет-сайтів є інтернаціональною і в кількісному плані у багато разів перевищує читацьку аудиторію друкованої преси. Тому, у зв’язку з активним розвитком нового джерела інформації, виникає необхідність вивчення дискурсивних практик в електронному інтернет-просторі. The qualifying paper focuses on the study of the problems of English-language news discourse, in particular, a comprehensive analysis of the structural and linguistic plans of the news discourse of the Internet. The intensive development of telecommunication technologies during the last years of the XXI century is the reason for the emergence and development of electronic media. The media have always played an important role in society, determining both the general style of presenting information and the language design of a publication. The audience of Internet sites is international and quantitatively many times larger than the readership of the print media. Therefore, due to the active development of a new source of information, there is a need to study discursive practices in the electronic Internet space.

МАС-МЕДІА США ЯК ОСНОВНИЙ ЗАСІБ ФОРМУВАННЯ СУСПІЛЬНОЇ ДУМКИ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ ГАЗЕТИ NEW YORK TIMES І МЕРЕЖІ НОВИН CNN)

Магістерська робота присвячена дослідженню мовних засобів впливу і маніпуляції у текстах засобів масової інформації. У теоретичній частині розглянуто поняття «мовний вплив» і «мовне маніпулювання» та основні методики аналізу медіатекстів. У практичній частині проаналізовано сучасні тексти американської газети New York Times та новин CNN. У роботі висвітлено специфіку реалізації маніпуляції у медіа текстах досліджуваного матеріалу за допомогою мовних засобів. The research work is devoted to the study of linguistic means of influence and manipulation in mass media texts. In the theoretical part the concepts of "language influence" and "language manipulation" and basic methods of analysis of media texts are considered. In the practical part modern texts of the American newspaper New York Times and CNN news are analyzed. The paper highlights the specifics of language means manipulation in media texts.
АЛЮЗІЯ В ХУДОЖНЬОМУ ДИСКУРСІ ДЖ. ФАУЛЗА: ЛІНГВОКУЛЬТУРОЛОГІЧНИЙ АСПЕКТ

Кваліфікаційну роботу зорієнтовано на вивчення алюзії як інтертекстуального елементу з огляду на її формальні і семантичні параметри та обчислення питомої ваги в художньому дискурсі Дж. Фаулза з позицій лінгвокультурологічного підходу. Мета роботи полягає в лінгвокультурологічному аналізі алюзій, спрямованому на опис художнього дискурсу Дж. Фаулза як проекції культурного простору, що вимагає послідовного дешифрування культурних кодів. У роботі конкретизовано поняття алюзії та дефінітивно відмежовано від інших синонімічних термінів; окреслено корелятивну значимість джерел культурологічної маркованості алюзій; описано роль алюзій як трансляторів культурно-мовних універсальних рис і культурно-мовної специфіки; виявлено типи пріоритетних для дискурсу Д. Фаулза культурних кодів, дешифрування яких пов’язане з декодуванням алюзій / The qualifying paper focuses on the linguistic and cultural study of allusion as an intertextual element in relation to its formal and semantic parameters and the calculation of its specific weight in John Fowles’ belles-lettres discourse. The aim of the study is a linguistic and cultural analysis of allusions aimed at describing John Fowles’ belles-lettres discourse as a projection of cultural space, which requires consistent decipherment of cultural codes. In the given paper the concept of allusion and its synonymous terms are specified; the correlative significance of the sources of cultural concept of allusions characterizing the discourse under analysis are outlined; the role of allusions as translators of cultural and linguistic universal features and cultural and linguistic specifics are given a detailed account; the types of cultural codes are identified and described.
ЛІНГВОКРЕАТИВНІСТЬ В АНГІЙСЬКОМОВНОМУ ДИСКУРСІ. ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ПЕРЕКЛАДУ

Також вивчається лінгвокреативність, її наукове тлумачення та види. У кваліфікаційній роботі були виявлені особливості використання та перекладу елементів лінгвокреативності в англійськомовному дискурсі. The qualification work examines the concept, place and role of English discourse as a complex linguistic phenomenon in the context of historical development. Linguo-creativity, its scientific interpretation and types are also studied. The qualification work revealed the features of the use and translation of elements of linguistic creativity in English discourse.
ЖАНРОВО-СТИЛІСТИЧНА СПЕЦИФІКА ПЕРЕКЛАДАННЯ АНІМАЦІЙНИХ ФІЛЬМІВ ДЛЯ ДІТЕЙ

Наукове дослідження присвячено вивченню проблематики перекладання анімаційних фільмів для дитячої цільової аудиторії. Матеріалом вивчення постають англомовні та українські скрипти анімаційного мультфільму «Монстри на канікулах 2» (“Hotel Transylvania – 2”). У роботі з’ясовано специфіку жанру анімаційних фільмів, призначених для дитячої глядацької аудиторії, встановлено та описано магістральні стратегії перекладання анімаційних фільмів для дітей, а також виявлено труднощі перекладання окремих номінативних одиниць при аудіовізуальному перекладі. У науковому доробку визначено особливості відтворення стилістично-маркованих номінативних одиниць за допомогою лінгвостилістиного та контрастивно-перекладознавчого методів аналізування. The scientific research is devoted to the study of the problems of translation of animated films for children's target audience. The study material is the English and Ukrainian scripts of the animated cartoon "Monsters on Vacation 2" ("Hotel Transylvania - 2"). The work clarifies the specifics of the genre of animated films intended for a children's audience, establishes and describes the main strategies for translating animated films for children, and also identifies the difficulties of translating certain nominative units in audiovisual translation. In the scientific study, the features of the reproduction of stylistically marked nominative units using linguistic stylistic and contrastive-translation methods of analysis are determined.

У науковій роботі розкрито місце машинного перекладу у сучасному суспільстві, його класифікація, спектр та специфіка їх застосування в роботі перекладача, а також досліджувались проблеми я якими стикаються системи машинного перекладу. Аналіз здійснювався на основі перекладів фрагментів науково-технічних текстів системами Google Translate та PROMT. The scientific work reveals the place of machine translation, its classification, range and specifics of their use in the work of a translator, as well as the problems faced by machine translation systems. The analysis was carried out based on translations of fragments of scientific and technical texts by Google Translate and PROMT systems.

Робота присвячена дослідженню вербальних та невербальних засобів створення персонажного образу Мері Поппінс у художньому тексті та кінотексті. В роботі також проведено порівняльний аналіз специфіки використання відповідних засобів у художньому тексті та кінотексті. Character image is one of the key concepts of text linguistics and narratology. The work is devoted to the study of verbal and nonverbal means of creating a personal image of Mary Poppins in literary text and film text. The paper also conducts a comparative analysis of the specifics of the use of appropriate tools in the literary text and film text.

Робота присвячена дослідженню специфіки художнього перекладу (сутність перекладу, його характерні риси; проблеми художнього перекладу; стилістичні особливості перекладу художніх творів) та дитячої літературної казки, зокрема. У роботі проведено порівняння між українськими перекладами казки «Аліса в країні Дивосвіт» Л. Керрола (лексичні особливості роману, специфіка перекладу стилістичних засобів, особливості відтворення лексичних стилістичних засобів при перекладі, збереження індивідуальних рис персонажів при перекладі, переклад синтаксичних стилістичних засобів). Особливу увагу акцентовано на специфіку відтворення каламбурів. The project is devoted to the study of the specifics of literary translation (the essence of translation, its characteristics; problems of literary translation; stylistic features of translation of works of art) and children's literary tales, in particular. The project compares the Ukrainian translations of L. Carroll's fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland" (lexical features of the novel, specifics of translation of stylistic means, features of reproduction of lexical stylistic means at translation, preservation of individual features of characters at translation, translation of syntactic stylistic means). Special attention is paid to the specifics of the reproduction of puns.
