Abstract
The work is devoted to the analysis of the current state of research on the
history of everyday life in Ukraine and the definition of the problems of
scientific works and further prospects. In particular, the need for further research
into everyday life in modern Ukraine and the study of the impact of
globalization on every day practices is determined.
This work examines the process of formation and development of the
history of everyday life, as well as the factors that caused Ukrainian historical
science to lag behind European standards.
The object of the research is the theoretical basis for studying the history
of everyday life and its methodological aspects. The work examines the process
of formation and development of the history of everyday life as a
methodological direction of historical science in Europe and Ukraine; the
importance of humanized history is determined; conclusions are made regarding
the methods of studying everyday life within the school history course.
