Кваліфікаційна робота спрямована на глибоке дослідження функційного навантаження афористичних виразів у романі Оскара Уайльда «Портрет Доріана Грея». У роботі висвітлено особливості використання афористики як стилістичного засобу, проаналізовано семантичні та прагматичні аспекти афоризмів, а також розглянуто їх роль у побудові сюжетної лінії та розвитку характерів. Дослідження підкреслює значущість афористичних висловів для формування ідейного змісту роману, їхній вплив на емоційне сприйняття та розкриття філософських концепцій автора. /The qualifying work focuses on an in-depth study of the functional load of aphoristic expressions in the novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. The research highlights the peculiarities of aphorisms as a stylistic device, analyzes the semantic and pragmatic aspects of aphorisms, and examines their role in building the storyline and character development. The study emphasizes the significance of aphoristic expressions for shaping the ideological content of the novel, their impact on emotional perception, and revealing the author's philosophical concepts.

У роботі пропонується визначення поняття «компетентнісний підхід» як ефективна умова успішного навчання, розглянуто особливості залучення компетентнісно-орієнтованого підходу в освітньому процесі та його головні принципи, виокремлено основні методики активізації розумової діяльності учнів під час комплексного засвоєння знань та способів практичної діяльності на уроках англійської мови та вивчено розвиток соціалізації особистості учнів під час організації навчально-пізнавальної діяльності на уроках іноземної мови. / The qualification work is focused on theoretical and practical research into the application of the competency-based approach and the creation of appropriate conditions in English lessons in primary school. The work proposes a definition of the concept of "competence-based approach" as an effective condition for successful learning, considers the features of involving a competency-based approach in the educational process and its main principles, identifies the main methods of activating students' mental activity during the complex assimilation of knowledge and methods of practical activity in English lessons, and studies the development of students' personality socialization during the organization of educational and cognitive activity in foreign language lessons.
МАНІПУЛЯТИВНІ ЗАСОБИ ВПЛИВУ НА ЧИТАЧА В АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНОМУ НОВИННОМУ ДИСКУРСІ

Магістерська робота теоретично та практично досліджує засоби маніпулятивного впливу на читача в англомовному новинному дискурсі. Розглянуто особливості англомовного новинного дискурсу та типи маніпуляцій, які в ньому застосовуються. Проаналізовано, як маніпулятивні стратегії впливають на сприйняття новин аудиторією та рівень довіри до медіа, підкреслюючи питання етики та відповідальності ЗМІ. Створено систему аналізу маніпулятивних прийомів, що сприяє розвитку критичного мислення та медіаграмотності читачів. Робота наголошує на важливості дослідження маніпулятивних засобів у сучасному інформаційному просторі. / The master's thesis theoretically and practically explores the means of manipulative influence on the reader in English-language news discourse. The features of English news discourse and the types of manipulations used in it are considered. The article analyses how manipulative strategies affect the audience's perception of news and the level of trust in the media, emphasising the issues of ethics and responsibility of the media. A framework for analysing manipulative techniques has been created that promotes the development of critical thinking and media literacy among readers. The paper highlights the importance of researching manipulative tools in the modern information space.

It offers a definition of the concept of «irony» as a rhetorical device, thanks to which the statement acquires a hidden meaning, considers the linguistic and extralinguistic factors that support the existence of irony, analyzes a selection of fragments from the works by Roald Dahl.

The paper offers definitions of the notions «concept», «mass media», «media discourse» and «war», examines the peculiarities of concepts and the specifics of their use in the media, studies the concept WAR in the context of media discourse, and identifies the peculiarities of the concept WAR usage in modern English media discourse.

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на теоретичний та художньо – прагматичний аналіз автентичного англійського тексту та його українських перекладів в аспекті своєрідності змістоформи у форматі розгляду українського контенту у поемі «Мазепа» Дж. Байрона. В роботі поглиблено роль і значення романтичної поеми Дж. Байрона у поемі «Мазепа» у процесі створення художнього простору «українськості» в змістоформі англійської та європейської літератур. Вперше створено повну класифікаційну систему дихотомічної структури авторського світообразу поеми – образ гетьмана та України як держави, враховуючи всі прояви маргінесу даної наукової проблеми у дослідженнях сучасних науковців. / The qualifying paper is focused on the theoretical and artistically-pragmatic analysis of the authentic English text and its Ukrainian translations in terms of the originality of the content-form in the format of considering the Ukrainian content in the poem «Mazeppa» by J. Byron. The work deepens the role and significance of the romantic poem by J. Byron in the poem «Mazeppa» in the process of creating the artistic space of «Ukrainianness» in the content-form of English and European literature. The work first created a complete classification system of the dichotomous structure of the author's worldview of the poem - the image of the hetman and Ukraine as a state, taking into account all manifestations of the margin of this scientific problem in the studies of modern scientists.

It offers a definition of the concept of «AI» as a subject in the educational process, considers the features of the use of intensive teaching methods and AI in the educational process and their key principles, highlights the main methods of intensive teaching, and creates a system of interactive exercises based on adaptive AI programs for English lessons.

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на теоретичне та практичне дослідження англо-українського відтворення лексики підлітків в комп’ютерному анімаційному фільмі “Думками навиворіт 2”. На базі відтворення комп‘ютерного анімаційного фільму була здійснена вибірка термінів англійською та українською мовами, їх класифікацію за будовою та походженням, виокремлено перекладацькі стратегії для їх відтворення, а також було досліджено спільні та відмінні характеристики щодо перекладу лексики підлітків досліджувальних перекладачів./ The qualifying paper is focused on the theoretical and practical study of the English-Ukrainian reproduction of teenager’s lexicon from the computer animated film “Inside Out 2”. Based on the reproduction of the computer animated film, a sample of terms in English and Ukrainian was carried out with their classification by structure and origin, translation strategies for their reproduction were identified, common and distinctive characteristics for the translation of teenager’s lexicon of research translators were investigated.

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню специфіки функціювання і способів перекладання англійськомовних неологізмів в сучасних засобах масової інформації. У роботі визначено поняття неологізмів та їхнє значення в контексті швидких технологічних і соціокультурних змін. Розглянуто різноманітні способи перекладу англійських неологізмів, зокрема транскрипцію, транслітерацію, калькування та експлікацію та ін., а також їх вплив на зміст і стилістику текстів ЗМІ. / The qualifying paper is focused on studying the specificity of the functioning and translation methods of English-language neologisms in modern mass media. The work defines the concept of neologisms and their significance in the context of rapid technological and sociocultural changes. Various translation methods for English neologisms, such as transcription, transliteration, calquing, explication, and others, as well as their impact on the content and style of texts, are examined.

The study analyzes how American poets use lexical-grammatical variability to create original poetic imagery, explore complex psychological states, and reflect social processes.
ОБРАЗ УКРАЇНЦЯ У КОНТЕКСТІ РОСІЙСЬКО-УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ВІЙНИ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ КАНАДСЬКОГО МЕДІЙНОГО ДИСКУРСУ)

Дослідження присвячене аналізу образу українця у канадському медійному дискурсі, створеного в умовах російсько-української війни. У роботі розглянуто теоретико-методологічні підходи до формування медійних образів, зокрема аналіз лексико-семантичних і стилістичних засобів їх створення. Особливу увагу приділено репрезентації українців як вимушених переселенців, волонтерів та стійких особистостей. Матеріалом дослідження стали статті провідних канадських видань, таких як CBC, National Post, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. Результати демонструють роль медіа у формуванні суспільної думки про українців і висвітлюють процеси їхньої адаптації у Канаді. / The research is focused on the analysis of the image of a Ukrainian in the Canadian media discourse created in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The research explores theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of media images, including the analysis of lexical, semantic and stylistic means of their creation. Particular attention is paid to the representation of Ukrainians as internally displaced persons, volunteers, and resilient individuals. The research material is based on articles from leading Canadian publications such as CBC, National Post, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. The results demonstrate the role of the media in shaping public opinion about Ukrainians and highlight the processes of their adaptation in Canada.

Увага зосереджена на способах вираження почуттів і створення емоційного забарвлення через мову. Особливий акцент зроблено на культурних і літературних чинниках, що впливають на вибір і використання емоційної лексики. / The study focuses on the analysis of semantic and cognitive features of emotive vocabulary in American poetry of the 19th and 20th centuries. It explores how emotions are conveyed and emotional tones are created through language. Particular attention is given to cultural and literary factors influencing the selection and usage of emotive vocabulary.
КОНСТРУЮВАННЯ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ НАЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ ІДЕНТИЧНОСТІ У МЕДІЙНОМУ ДИСКУРСІ

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на аналізування засобів формування української національної ідентичності у медійному просторі Великої Британії. У роботі досліджено теоретичні аспекти поняття національної ідентичності, її формування та трансформація під впливом історичних і соціокультурних чинників. Визначено роль медіа в конструюванні позитивного та/або негативного іміджу країни. Використано методи аналізу, синтезу, лінгвістичного аналізу дискурсивних фрагментів британських медіа. / The qualification work is focused on analyzing the means of forming Ukrainian national identity in the media space of Great Britain. The theoretical aspects of the concept of national identity, its formation and transformation under the influence of historical and socio-cultural factors are investigated. The role of the media in constructing a positive and/or negative image of the country is determined. The methods of analysis, synthesis, linguistic analysis of discursive fragments of the British media are used.
ПЕРЕКЛАД МЕДИЧНИХ ТА ПСИХОЛОГІЧНИХ ТЕРМІНІВ У ХУДОЖНІЙ ЛІТЕРАТУРІ

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на теоретичне та практичне дослідження перекладу українською мовою медичних та психологічних термінів з текстів англійської художньої літератури. На базі перекладу детективних текстів була здійснена вибірка термінів англійською та українською мовами, їх класифікацію за будовою та походженням, виокремлено перекладацькі стратегії для їх відтворення, а також було досліджено спільні та відмінні характеристики щодо перекладу медичних та психологічних термінів досліджувальних перекладачів./ The qualifying paper is focused on the theoretical and practical study of the translation of medical and psychological terms into Ukrainian from the texts of English fiction. Based on the translation of detective texts, a sample of terms in English and Ukrainian was carried out with their classification by structure and origin, translation strategies for their reproduction were identified, common and distinctive characteristics for the translation of medical and psychological terms of research translators were investigated.

The paper provides definitions of the concepts of "dramatization" and "role-playing" as tools of interactive learning, examines their features in the educational process, highlights the main approaches to interactive teaching, and offers a classification of dramatic techniques and scenarios.

Також аналізуються вимоги до професійної компетентності військових перекладачів, які включають мовні, культурні та стресостійкі навички. В умовах глобальних викликів їхня роль стає дедалі важливішою у сприянні мирному співіснуванню та міжкультурному розумінню. / The qualification work examines the service activities of a military translator in the context of peacetime and international cooperation, emphasizing their importance in military operations, in particular during the full-scale war in Ukraine. It also analyzes the requirements for the professional competence of military translators, which include language, cultural and stress-resistant skills. In the face of global challenges, their role is becoming increasingly important in promoting peaceful coexistence and intercultural understanding.
СПОСОБИ ВІДТВОРЕННЯ ПАСИВНОГО СТАНУ АНГЛІЙСЬКОГО ДІЄСЛОВА В УКРАЇНСЬКОМУ ПЕРЕКЛАДІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ РОМАНІВ В.С. МОЕМА «МІСЯЦЬ І МІДЯКИ» ТА «НА ЖАЛІ БРИТВИ»)

Кваліфікаційна робота спрямована на теоретичне та практичне дослідження способів відтворення пасивного стану англійського дієслова в українському перекладі на основі романів В.С. Моема «Місяць і мідяки» та «На жалі бритви» та їх українських перекладів. У роботі досліджено категорію пасивного стану в діахронічному аспекті та на сучасному етапі, визначено її лінгвістичні особливості в англійській і українській мовах, встановлено типи перекладацьких трансформацій, які використовуються для відтворення англійських пасивних конструкцій українською мовою, та проаналізовано їх застосування в перекладах А. Муляра, О. Мокровольського та О. Жовніра. / The qualifying paper is aimed at a theoretical and practical study of the ways of reproducing the passive voice of an English verb in the Ukrainian translation on the basis of the novels “The Moon and Sixpence” and “The Razor’s Edge” by W.S. Maugham and their Ukrainian translations. The paper examines the category of passive voice in the diachronic aspect and at the present stage, identifies its linguistic features in English and Ukrainian, establishes the types of translation transformations used to reproduce English passive constructions in Ukrainian, and analyses their application in translations by A. Mulyar, O. Mokrovolskyi and O. Zhovnir.

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на дослідження мовних засобів та стилістичних прийомів, які використовує авторка для створення образів персонажів. Метою дослідження є аналіз способів репрезентації головних героїв через лексико-семантичні та стилістичні засоби, а також визначення зв’язку між їхнім внутрішнім світом і мовою. У роботі використано методи лінгвістичного, стилістичного та контент-аналізу. Основними результатами є виявлення домінантних стилістичних прийомів і мовних особливостей, які сприяють створенню психологічної глибини персонажів. Практичне значення дослідження полягає у можливості використання результатів у викладанні курсів англійської лексикології та аналізу тексту./ The qualifying paper is focused on theoretical and practical study on the effectiveness of using the case method and the creation of relevant cases in English language classes at the lyceum. It offers a definition of the concept of «case method» as a form of interactive learning, considers the interactivity’s features in the educational process and its key principles, highlights the main interactive methods and classification of cases, creates a system of exercises based on the interactive case-study method for English lessons.
ВИКОРИСТАННЯ ТЕХНОЛОГІЇ CLIL НА УРОКАХ АНГЛІЙСЬКОЇ МОВИ В ЛІЦЕЇ

У кваліфікаційній роботі теоретично обґрунтовуються особливості використання технології CLIL на уроках англійської мови в ліцеї та розробляється відповідна система вправ. У теоретичній частині роботи здобувачка аналізує зміст і сутність поняття CLIL у методиці викладання мов, а також описує компоненти предметно-мовної компетентності та особливості її формування в учнів ліцеїв. У практичній частині дослідження авторка представляє систему вправ для навчання учнів англійської мови за допомогою CLIL, а також пропонує практичні шляхи організації структури та змісту уроку, що поєднує предметний і мовний компоненти для забезпечення всебічного розвитку учнів у рамках цього підходу. The thesis substantiates using CLIL technology in English language lessons for lyceum students and develops a corresponding set of exercises. In the theoretical section, the researcher analyzes the content and essence of the CLIL concept in language teaching methodology and related sciences while also describing the components of subject-language competence and its formation in lyceum students. The practical segment of the study introduces a set of exercises designed for teaching English through CLIL. It proposes practical methods for organizing the structure and content of an English lesson that integrates both subject and language components to support the comprehensive development of students within this approach.

Використання наочності як основний загальнодидактичний принцип і метод навчання ґрунтується на демонстрації конкретних предметів, процесів та явищ, надаючи більшу можливість для сприйняття, забезпечуючи логічність та переконливу ясність. / The qualifying paper is focused on theoretical and practical research of the effective use of educational information visualization at English lessons in high school. The study considers a definition of the concept "visualization" as a key technique for teaching English. Visualization acquires special importance in solving educational problems. The use of visualization as the main general didactic principle and teaching method is based on the demonstration of specific objects, processes and phenomena, providing greater opportunity for perception, ensuring logic and convincing clarity.
