В.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена проблемі лінгвокогнітивного потенціалу метафори в художньому тексті (на прикладі перекладу роману Дж.Р.Р.Толкіна «Хоббіт, або туди і звідти» українською мовою). У роботі окреслено жанрові особливості роману Дж.Р.Р. Толкіна «Хоббіт, або туди і звідти»; розглянуто і уточнено теоретичні основи лінгвокогнітивного дослідження метафор в оригінальному тексті і його перекладах; визначено понятійно-термінологічний апарат дослідження в рамках теорії когнітивної метафори; виділено в тексті досліджуваного роману метафори і зіставлено їх з перекладацькими трансформаціями, виявленими в тексті перекладу. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of the linguocognitive potential of metaphor in a literary text (the case study of the translation of JRR Tolkien's novel "The Hobbit, or there and there" in Ukrainian). The genre features of the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit, or there and there"; the theoretical bases of linguocognitive research of metaphors in the original text and its translations are considered and specified; the conceptual and terminological apparatus of research within the framework of the theory of cognitive metaphor is determined; highlighted in the text of the studied novel metaphors and compared them with the translation transformations found in the text of the translation.Item ВЕРБАЛІЗАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ UKRAINE В АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНИХ ЗМІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ ПЕРЕКЛАДІВ ТЕКСТІВ ЗМІ УКРАЇНСЬКОЮ МОВОЮ)(2020) Артюхова, О. Г.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена проблемі вербалізації концепту UKRAINE в англійськомовних ЗМІ (на матеріалі перекладів текстів ЗМІ українською мовою). У роботі систематизувано існуючі визначення поняття «лінгвокультурний концепт; визначено структуру лінгвокультурного концепту UKRAINE; встановлено і охарактеризовано основні мовні одиниці, що об'єктивують лінгвокультурний концепт UKRAINE в англійськомовних текстах ЗМІ; виявлено подібні та ціннісні характеристики лінгвокультурного концепту UKRAINE в рамках дискурсу ЗМІ. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of verbalization of the concept UKRAINE in English-language media (based on the translation of media texts into Ukrainian). At work the existing definitions of the concept “linguistic and cultural concept are defined; the structure of the linguistic and cultural concept of UKRAINE is determined; the main language units that objectify the linguistic and cultural concept of UKRAINE in English-language media texts are identified and characterized; similar and value characteristics of the linguistic and cultural concept of UKRAINE within the media discourse are revealed.
