О.Робота присвячена дослідженню семантичної структури англійськомовних фразових дієслів та методиці їх навчання у ліцеї. Розглядається сутність поняття та екстралінгвальні чинники виникнення фразових дієслів, їх лінгвістична природа та семантична структура. Окрема увага приділяється загальним підходам та принципам навчання фразовим дієсловам. Розроблено комплекс практичних завдань, що використовуються при вивченні фразових дієслів. The thesis deals with the study of the semantic structure of English phrasal verbs and methods of their teaching in lyceum. The essence of the concept and extralingual factors of phrasal verbs, their linguistic nature and semantic structure are observed. Particular attention is paid to general approaches and principles of teaching phrasal verbs. A set of practical tasks used in the study of phrasal verbs has been developed.
