Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена проблемі визначення поняття «комікс», а також дослідженню впливу поєднання вербальних і невербальних елементів на процес перекладання. У роботі проаналізовано поєднання вербальних і невербальних елементів та їхню роль у творенні змісту і розумінні коміксів. Крім того, з’ясовано труднощі перекладання коміксів і способи їхнього вирішення на фонологічному, лексичному та стилістичному рівнях. The qualifying paper is devoted to the problem of comics’ definition as well as to the text-image relationship and its impact on the translation process. The author analyzes the ways in which the verbal and visual modes interact and contribute to the creation of meaning in comics and their perception. It deals with the issues and techniques of comics’ translation at the phonological, lexical, and stylistic levels.
ЛІНГВОКУЛЬТУРНІ ОСОБЛИВОСТІ АНГЛІЙСЬКИХ ТА УКРАЇНСЬКИХ НАРОДНИХ КАЗОК

У кваліфікаційній роботі висвітлено лінгвокультурна специфіка українських та англійських народних казок. У роботі використано загальнонаукові та конкретно наукові методи аналізування. Методи аналізу та синтезу застосовано для систематизації теоретичного матеріалу та окреслення жанрових характеристик народної казки як типу тексту. Текстово-інтерпретативний метод імплементовано для вивчення сюжетно-композиційної будови казок, моделювання їхнього хронотопу та персонажних образів. Лексико-семантичний та лінвгстилістичний методи аналізування реалізовано нами для визначення особливостей семантики текстів та головних образних засобів творення персонажних образів. The qualification work highlights the linguistic and cultural specifics of Ukrainian and English folk tales. The paper uses general and specific scientific methods of analysis. Methods of analysis and synthesis are used to systematize the theoretical material and outline the genre characteristics of folk tales as a type of text. The text-interpretive method is implemented to study the plot-compositional structure of fairy tales, modeling their chronotope and character images. Lexico-semantic and linguistic-stylistic methods of analysis have been implemented by us to determine the features of the semantics of texts and the main figurative means of creating character images.

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на вивчення перекладознавчих особливостей креолізованих текстів, вивчення їх побудови, графічного оформлення та впливу на процес перекладу. У роботі зазначена загальна характеристика коміксів та графічних романів як текстових жанрів; окреслені перекладацькі стратегії, які використовуються при перекладі графічних текстів; наведено приклади вдалих і невдалих перекладів коміксів; проілюстровано головні особливості перекладу графічних текстів українською мовою / The qualifying paper is focused on the study of translation features of creolized texts, the study of their construction, graphic design and impact on the translation process. The general characteristics of comics and graphic novels as text genres is given in the work; outlined translation strategies used in the translation of graphic texts; examples of successful and unsuccessful translations of comics are given; the main features of translation of graphic texts into Ukrainian are illustrated.

У зв’язку з цим кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на розробку системи заcобів для розвитку мотивації студентів закладів вищої освіти. У роботі зазначена роль розвитку мотивації майбутніх вчителів англійської мови до вивчення курсу "Країнознавство Англії та США", визначено дидактичний потенціал системи засобів для розвитку мотивації. КОМУНІКАТИВНО-ФУНКЦІОНАЛЬНІ ВЛАСТИВОСТІ ЕВФЕМІЗМІВ У СУЧАСНИХ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНИХ ПУБЛІЦИСТИЧНИХ ТЕКСТАХ

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на вивчення явища евфемії та його особливостей, а саме: функціонування в сучасних публіцистичних текстах поряд з дослідженням специфіки прояву їх лінгвістичної сутності, тематики, сфер використання, а також відмінність соціальних оцінок евфемістичних способів вираження. У роботі зазначена загальна характеристика евфемії в англомовному публіцистичному дискурсі; окреслені наукові підходи, у руслі яких вивчається це явище, наведено класифікації евфемізмів, їх функції, мотиви використання; проілюстровано використання евфемістичних одиниць на прикладах англомовних публіцистичних новинних статей та проаналізовано особливості їхнього вживання. The qualification paper focuses on the study of the phenomenon of euphemism and its features, namely: their functioning in modern journalistic texts, along with the study of the specifics of their linguistic essence, topics, areas of use. The paper presents the general characteristics of euphemism in English journalistic discourse; there were outlined the scientific approaches in the line of which this phenomenon is studied, classifications of euphemisms, their functions and motives for using; there were illustrated the use of euphemistic units on examples of English-language publicistic news articles and analyzed and the peculiarities of their usage.

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на дослідження невербальних засобів репрезентації саспенсу в сучасних американських серіалах “The Undoing” і “What if”, вивчення та опис ключових понять дослідження, аналіз поглядів науковців на інструментальні і контрибутивні модуси кінотексту. В роботі наведено аналіз кінотексту на предмет реалізації ефекту саспенс у руслі реалізованого, візуального та звукового модусів. The qualifying paper is focused on the study of non-verbal means of realization of suspense in modern English-speaking TV shows “The Undoing” and “What If”, the investigation and characteristics of key research notions, analysis of scientists ' viewpoint on instrumental and contributive modes of film text. The paper reveals the realization of the suspense effect in the film texts in the aspect of implemented, visual and sound modes.

У кваліфікаційній роботі висвітлено теоретичні основи дослідження англомовного публіцистичного дискурсу: публіцистичний дискурс у сучасних лінгвістичних дослідженнях, жанри англомовного публіцистичного дискурсу та поняття псевдоправди, брехні та маніпуляції у медійному просторі. Розкрито методику аналізу текстів фейкових новин у публіцистичному дискурсі, визначено текст-типологічні властивості фейкових новин та лінгвістичні маркери «фейковості» інформації, досліджено візуальні засоби творення фейків у соціальних мережах. The qualification work highlights the theoretical foundations of the study of English-language journalistic discourse: journalistic discourse in modern linguistic research, genres of English-language journalistic discourse and the concepts of pseudo-truth, lies and manipulation in the media space. The method of analysis of texts of fake news in journalistic discourse is revealed, the text-typological properties of fake news and linguistic markers of "fake" information are determined, the visual means of creating fakes in social networks are investigated

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на вивчення лінгво-стилістичних засобів створення образу світу у промовах Г. Тунберг. У дослідженні було визначено характерні особливості та способи вираження аргументів у сучасному політичному дискурсі, зокрема визначено головні тактики, які реалізує Г. Тунберг у своїх промовах. Отримані результати розкрили широкий спектр теоретичних та практичних проблем опису політичного дискурсу, а також подана докладна лінгвістична характеристика яскраво забарвленої емоційності спікера; були описані різноманітні мовні прийоми та експресивні засоби, що мають на меті вплив на аудиторію. The qualification paper focuses on the study of linguistic and stylistic means of creating the image of the world in the speeches of G. Thunberg. The study identified the characteristics and ways of expressing the arguments in modern political discourse, identified the main tactics that G. Thunberg implements in his speeches in particular. The obtained results revealed a wide range of theoretical and practical problems of describing political discourse, as well as a detailed linguistic description of the brightly colored emotionality of the speaker; various language techniques and expressive means aimed at influencing the audience were described.

Розуміючи проникнення ЗМІ в усі сфери життя сучасної людини, постає необхідність навчити школяра самостійно отримувати знання, вміти в них орієнтуватися, критично мислити. У зв’язку з цим кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на розробку вправ та завдань для формування у школяра відповідних навичок роботи з медійними текстами та інформацією, що надходить зі ЗМІ. Today, the problem of media culture is one of the most common, because the quality of information flow affects the future of society. Understanding the penetration of the media in all spheres of life of modern man, there is a need to teach students to independently acquire knowledge, be able to navigate them, think critically. In this regard, the qualification work is focused on the development of exercises and tasks for the formation of the student's appropriate skills in working with media texts and information coming from the media.

Робота присвячена вивченню поняття реклами, психолінгвістичних основ рекламного тексту та його впливу на людську свідомість. У роботі надається поняття реклами, наведено її класифікації та різновиди. Було визначено особливості формування професійної реклами, проаналізовано основні складові рекламного тексту. На прикладі обраного матеріалу було виділено психолінгвістичні прийоми, використовувані в рекламі, окреслено функції реклами, обрано найбільш дієві механізми впливу на підсвідомість. The project is devoted to the study of the concept of advertising psycholinguistic bases of advertising text and its influence on human consciousness. The concept of advertising is given in the work, its classifications and varieties are given. The peculiarities of the formation of professional advertising were determined, the main componence of the advertising text were analyzed. In the example of the selected material, the psycholinguistic techniques used in advertising were highlighted, the functions of advertising were outlined, and the most effective mechanisms of influencing the subconscious were selected.

У роботі зазначена загальна характеристика прецедентних феноменів і прецедентності; окреслені наукові підходи, у руслі яких вивчаються прецедентні феномени; наведено класифікації прецедентних феноменів; проілюстровано прецедентні феномени в різних видах дискурсу та особливості їхнього відтворення українською мовою / The qualifying paper is focused on the study and description of discursive and translation features of precedent phenomena, namely: precedent names, precedent statements, precedent situations and precedent texts. The general characteristics of precedent phenomena and the precedent itself are specified in the paper; scientific approaches in the course of which precedent phenomena are studied are outlined; classifications of precedent phenomena are given; precedent phenomena in different types of discourse and peculiarities of their reproduction in Ukrainian are illustrated.

ОБРАЗ ФЕМІНІСТКИ В СУЧАСНИХ АНГЛОМОВНИХ ЖУРНАЛАХ ДЛЯ ЖІНОК

У проаналізованому фактичному матеріалу концепт Феміністка/Фемінізм найчастіше осмислюється у термінах концептів рівноправ’я та боротьба. Таке трактування феномену «феміністка» пояснюється ідейним спрямуванням та основними цілями феміністичного руху – боротьбою та подолянням гендерної дискримінації жінок та установлення рівних прав чоловіків та жінок в усіх сферах суспільної діяльності. Когнітивна обробка інформації про досліджуваний феномен, втіленої у сучасних англомовних жіночих журналах, уможливила формування узагальненого уявлення про феміністку у свідомості англійськомовної спільноти як сильну, рівноправну чоловічу жінку, яка, незважаючи на існуючі стереотипи, самостійно обирає свій життєвий шлях та роль у соціумі та веде активну діяльність, спрямовану на боротьбу із соціальною та культурною дискримінацією жінок. In the analyzed factual material, the concept of Feminist / Feminism is most often understood in terms of the concepts of equality and struggle. This interpretation of the "feminist" phenomenon is explained by the ideological direction and main goals of the feminist movement - the struggle and overcoming gender discrimination against women and the establishment of equal rights for men and women in all spheres of social activity. Cognitive processing of information about the studied phenomenon, embodied in modern English-language women's magazines, allowed the formation of a generalized idea of the feminist in the minds of the English-speaking community as a strong, equal male woman who, despite existing stereotypes, independently chooses and actively chooses activities aimed at combating social and cultural discrimination against women.
МОТИВ «ДИТИНСТВО І ГОЛОКОСТ» У ЗАХІДНОЄВРОПЕЙСЬКІЙ ХУДОЖНІЙ ПРОЗІ КІНЦЯ ХХ – ПОЧАТКУ ХХІ СТ.

Мета роботи – з’ясувати семантику і художню специфіку інсталяції мотиву «діти і Голокост» у яскравих зразках сучасної західноєвропейської прози – повісті «Дитя Ноя» Еріка-Еммануеля Шмітта та романі «Хлопчик у смугастій піжамі» Джона Бойна. Методи – порівняльно-типологічний, структурно-семантичний, інтертекстуальний; поєднання цих методів забезпечує комплексний підхід до матеріалу дослідження. Результати. У магістерській роботі вперше здійснено порівняльно-типологічне дослідження мотиву «дитинство і Голокост» у яскравих зразках сучасної західноєвропейської прози про / для дітей – повісті «Дитя Ноя» Еріка-Еммануеля Шмітта та романі «Хлопчик у смугастій піжамі» Джона Бойна, з’ясовано зв'язок цього мотиву з кроскультурною темою Катастрофи (Шоа), а також уперше в українському літературознавстві проаналізовано незакінчений роман Анни Франк «Життя Каді». Висновки. В результаті порівняльно-типологічного дослідження повісті «Дитя Ноя» Е.-Е. Шмітта та роману «Хлопчик у смугастій піжамі» Дж. Бойна виявлено типологічно спільні риси : властивий досліджуваним творам жанровий синтез, оприявнений у поєднанні традиційних жанрових форм ( «роман виховання», авантюрний роман, і новітніх: «псевдоавтобіографія» і «концтабірний роман»); домінантний мотив викриття фашистського варварства і протиставлення йому гуманістичної культури та феномена дитинства; структурно-семантичний комплекс тематичних, наративних, предметних і символічних мотивів, як-от: взаємини батьків і дітей, дитяча дружба, пізнання світу (дитячі «дослідження»), мандри і пригоди, таємниці, містифікація і гра, переодягання, взаємопідтримка, протистояння злу, прощання і зустрічі, мотив утраченої домівки, сирітства і самотності, а також зірка Давида як лейтмотивний символ єврейства тощо. The aim of the work is to find out the semantics and artistic specifics of the installation of the motif “childhood and the Holocaust” in striking examples of modern Western European prose - the novel “Child of Noah” by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt and the novel “The Boy in Striped Pajamas” by John Boyne. Methods - comparative-typological, structural-semantic, intertextual; the combination of these methods provides a comprehensive approach to the research material. Results.In the master's thesis for the first time a comparative-typological study of the motif of “childhood and the Holocaust” in striking examples of modern Western European prose about / for children - the novel “Noah's Child” by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt and the novel “The Boy in Striped Pajamas” by John Boyne was installed the connection of this motif with the cross-cultural theme of the Catastrophe (Shoah), as well as for the first time in Ukrainian literary criticism analyzed the unfinished novel by Anne Frank “Life of Kadi”. Conclusions.As a result of comparative and typological study of the story “Child of Noah” E.-E. Schmitt and J. Boyne's novel “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” revealed typologically common features: the genre synthesis inherent in the studied works, manifested in a combination of traditional genre forms (“parenting novel”, adventure novel, and the latest: “pseudo-autobiography” and “сoncentration camp novel”); the dominant motive for exposing fascist barbarism and opposing it to humanistic culture and the phenomenon of childhood; structural and semantic complex of thematic, narrative, substantive and symbolic motives, such as: the relationship between parents and children, children's friendship, knowledge of the world (children's “research”), travel and adventure, mysteries, mystification and play, disguise, mutual support, resistance to evil , farewells and meetings, the motif of lost home, orphanhood and loneliness, as well as the Star of David as a leitmotif symbol of Judaism, etc.
