Досліджено співвідношення понять «текст», «кінотекст», «образ», «креалізований текст», проаналізовано основні особливості кінотексту, розглянуто структуру кінотекстів, визначено способи створення образу митця у кінотексті , розглянуто лінгвістичні засоби створення образу персонажа в кінотексті, проаналізовано кінематографічні прийоми і техніки творення персонажних образів митця, пояснено взаємодію вербальних та невербальних засобів створення кіноперсонажного образу. The work is devoted to the study of the image of the artist in English-language film texts. The corelation between the concepts of "text", "film text", "image", "realized text" was studied, the main features of the film text were analyzed, the structure of film texts was considered, the methods of creating the image of the artist in the film text were determined, the linguistic means of creating the image of the character in the film text were considered, cinematographic techniques were analyzed and techniques of creating character images of the artist, the interaction of verbal and non-verbal means of creating a film character image were explained.
