Ю.Магістерська робота теоретично та практично досліджує засоби маніпулятивного впливу на читача в англомовному новинному дискурсі. Розглянуто особливості англомовного новинного дискурсу та типи маніпуляцій, які в ньому застосовуються. Проаналізовано, як маніпулятивні стратегії впливають на сприйняття новин аудиторією та рівень довіри до медіа, підкреслюючи питання етики та відповідальності ЗМІ. Створено систему аналізу маніпулятивних прийомів, що сприяє розвитку критичного мислення та медіаграмотності читачів. Робота наголошує на важливості дослідження маніпулятивних засобів у сучасному інформаційному просторі. / The master's thesis theoretically and practically explores the means of manipulative influence on the reader in English-language news discourse. The features of English news discourse and the types of manipulations used in it are considered. The article analyses how manipulative strategies affect the audience's perception of news and the level of trust in the media, emphasising the issues of ethics and responsibility of the media. A framework for analysing manipulative techniques has been created that promotes the development of critical thinking and media literacy among readers. The paper highlights the importance of researching manipulative tools in the modern information space.Item ОБРАЗ УКРАЇНЦЯ У КОНТЕКСТІ РОСІЙСЬКО-УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ВІЙНИ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ КАНАДСЬКОГО МЕДІЙНОГО ДИСКУРСУ)(2024) Кузнєцова, Д. О.Дослідження присвячене аналізу образу українця у канадському медійному дискурсі, створеного в умовах російсько-української війни. У роботі розглянуто теоретико-методологічні підходи до формування медійних образів, зокрема аналіз лексико-семантичних і стилістичних засобів їх створення. Особливу увагу приділено репрезентації українців як вимушених переселенців, волонтерів та стійких особистостей. Матеріалом дослідження стали статті провідних канадських видань, таких як CBC, National Post, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. Результати демонструють роль медіа у формуванні суспільної думки про українців і висвітлюють процеси їхньої адаптації у Канаді. / The research is focused on the analysis of the image of a Ukrainian in the Canadian media discourse created in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The research explores theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of media images, including the analysis of lexical, semantic and stylistic means of their creation. Particular attention is paid to the representation of Ukrainians as internally displaced persons, volunteers, and resilient individuals. The research material is based on articles from leading Canadian publications such as CBC, National Post, Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News. The results demonstrate the role of the media in shaping public opinion about Ukrainians and highlight the processes of their adaptation in Canada.Item ПЕРСОНАЖНЕ МОВЛЕННЯ ЯК ЗАСІБ КОМУНІКАЦІЇ ПЕРСОНАЖІВ ХУДОЖНЬОГО ТВОРУ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ СУЧАСНОГО АНГЛІЙСЬМОВНОГО ХУДОЖНЬОГО ДИСКУРСУ)(2023) Павлюкова, Т. А.Робота присвячена функціям мовлення персонажів художнього твору, роль персонажного мовлення у створенні художніх образів та вираженні ідейно-художнього змісту твору на прикладі повісті Ч. Дікенса «Різдвяна пісня в прозі».Окрема увага приділяється дослідженню лінгво-стилістичних особливостей повісті англійського письменника Чарльза Дікенса “Різдвяна пісня в прозі”. The work deals with the functions of character speech of the art work, the role of character speech in the creation of artistic images and the expression of the ideological and artistic content of the fiction narrative on the example of C. Dickens' story "A Christmas Carol in Prose". Particular attention is paid to the study of the linguistic and stylistic features of the novel "A Christmas Carol in Prose" by the English writer Charles Dickens.Item ДИСКУРСИВНА ОСОБИСТІСТЬ СУЧАСНОГО ПОЛІТИКА (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ ПОЛІТИЧНИХ ПРОМОВ БОРИСА ДЖОНСОНА ТА РІШІ СУНАКА)(2023) Іванова, К. С.Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню дискурсивної особистості сучасного політика. У роботі розкрито поняття дискурсивної особистості в мовознавстві. Описано роль мови та риторики в політиці. Охарактеризовано специфіку політичних промов Бориса Джонсона та Ріші Сунака. В рамках цього дослідження виявлено, яким чином ці політики використовують мовні засоби для формування свого іміджу та впливу на громадськість. Також, робота передбачає порівняльний аналіз дискурсивних стратегій Б. Джонсона та Р. Сунака з метою виявлення спільних та відмінних особливостей їхнього мовного стилю та комунікативного підходу. У роботі застосовано загальнонаукові та безпосередньо лінгвістичні методи, релевантні для вивчення дискурсивної особистості політика. The qualification work is devoted to the research of the discursive personality of a modern politician. The work reveals the concept of discursive personality in linguistics. The role of language and rhetoric in politics is described. The specifics of the political speeches of Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak are characterized. As part of this study, it was revealed how these politicians use language tools to shape their image and influence the public. Also, the work involves a comparative analysis of the discursive strategies of B. Johnson and R. Sunak in order to identify the common and distinctive features of their language style and communicative approach. The work uses general scientific and directly linguistic methods relevant to the study of the discursive personality of a politician.Item ВЕРБАЛІЗАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ КОХАННЯ У СУЧАСНОМУ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНОМУ ПІСЕННОМУ ДИСКУРСІ(2021) Жмакіна, Т. The qualification work highlights modern approaches to the study of the concept, its structure and ways of implementing the concept of LOVE in song discourse. The specifics of song discourse are revealed and the peculiarities of verbal representation of the concept of LOVE in English-language song discourse are analyzed..
