    У роботі надано характеристику сутності поняття «маркетинг в туризмі»; визначено види маркетингових засобів для просування туристичної дестинації; зроблено аналіз Херсонської області як туристичної дестинації; було проаналізовано сучасний стан конкурентоздатності Херсонщини і визначено методи використання маркетингових інструментів для підвищення конкурентоздатності Херсонщини; розроблено методи покращення конкурентоспроможності Херсонського регіону. The paper describes the essence of the concept of "marketing in tourism"; identified types of marketing tools to promote a tourist destination; the analysis of the Kherson area as a tourist destination is made; the current state of competitiveness of Kherson region was analyzed and methods of using marketing tools to increase the competitiveness of Kherson region were identified; methods for improving the competitiveness of the Kherson region have been developed.
