С.Робота присвячена актуальній проблемі сучасної когнітивної лінгвістики – засобам вербалізації концепту РІЗДВО у сучасному американському кінодискурсі. У роботі висвітлюється поняття концепт, його структура та типологія за Приходько А.М. та розкривається сутність понять «кінодискурс», «кінотекст», «кінодіалог»; їх кореляція. У дослідженні на матеріалі сучасних американських кінострічок були вилучені концептуальні метафоричні схеми, які дають можливість осмислити сутність концепту РІЗДВО. The qualifying paper focuses on the study of the current problem of modern cognitive linguistics - the actualization of means of verbalizing the concept of CHRISTMAS in modern American films. The qualifying paper reveals the definition of the concept, its structure and typology by Prikhodko A.M. The correlation of the concepts "film discourse", "film text", "film dialogue" is revealed. Conceptual metaphorical schemes are highlighted, which make it possible to comprehend the essence of the concept of CHRISTMAS.
