У роботі надано загальну характеристику власних назв, розглянуто їх класифікацію та особливості, досліджено поняття художнього дискурсу. У практичній частині особливу увагу сфокусовано на специфіці відтворення власних назв у художніх текстах, визначено способи перекладу власних назв / The project is devoted to the study of the specifics of functioning and reproduction of English proper names in artistic discourse. The paper provides a general description of proper names, considers their classification and features, and explores the notion of artistic discourse. In the practical part, special attention is focused on the specifics of the reproduction of proper names in artistic texts, determination of the methods of translating proper names
