АДАПТАЦІЯ АНГЛІЗМІВ У НІМЕЦЬКОМОВНИХ МЕДІАТЕКСТАХ СПОРТИВНОЇ ТЕМАТИКИ: КРОСКУЛЬТУРНИЙ ВПЛИВ НА СПОРТИВНУ ЛЕКСИКУ І ТЕРМІНОЛОГІЮ

Робота присвячена дослідженню лексико-семантичних особливостей англізмів, що функціонують у сучасних німецькомовних медіатекстах спортивної тематики. У роботі аналізуються процеси інтеграції іншомовних одиниць в систему німецької мови в умовах медійного спортивного дискурсу. Матеріалом дослідження слугує корпус німецькомовних спортивних медіатекстів онлайн-видань, а також офіційних вебресурсів спортивних федерацій і клубів. Особливу увагу зосереджено на класифікації англізмів за типами мовної адаптації, а також на виявленні закономірностей їх частотності та функціонального навантаження в межах спортивного дискурсу. This work is devoted to the study of the lexical and semantic features of anglicisms used in contemporary German-language media texts on sports topics. The work analyzes the processes of integrating foreign language units into the German language system in the context of media sports discourse. The research material consists of a corpus of German-language sports media texts from online publications, as well as official websites of sports federations and clubs. Particular attention is paid to the classification of Anglicisms by type of linguistic adaptation, as well as to the identification of patterns in their frequency and functional load within sports discourse.
ВИКОРИСТАННЯ МАШИННОГО ПЕРЕКЛАДУ: ПЕРЕВАГИ, НЕДОЛІКИ ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню можливостей, особливостей функціювання та перспектив розвитку машинного перекладу в професійній перекладацькій діяльності. У роботі розкрито сутність машинного перекладу, окреслено етапи його становлення у світовому та українському науковому просторах, а також визначено структурно-функціональні характеристики основних типів систем машинного перекладу. Проаналізовано провідні платформи машинного перекладу та специфіку їхнього застосування. Значну увагу приділено порівняльному аналізу перекладів, згенерованих системами Google Translate, Reverso Context та ChatGPT, із фокусом на точності, стилістичній адекватності та прагматичній відповідності перекладу художніх текстів. У роботі також розглянуто типові проблеми та етичні аспекти використання машинного перекладу, а також запропоновано стратегії оптимізації його застосування в професійній діяльності перекладача. This research paper is dedicated to exploring the possibilities, features, and prospects of machine translation (MT) in professional interpreting. The paper reveals the essence of machine translation, outlines the stages of its development in the global and Ukrainian scientific community, and identifies the structural and functional characteristics of the main types of MT systems. It analyzes the leading machine translation platforms and the specifics of their application. Significant attention is paid to the comparative analysis of translations generated by Google Translate, Reverso Context, and ChatGPT, with a focus on the accuracy, stylistic adequacy, and pragmatic relevance of the translation of literary texts. The paper also discusses typical problems and ethical aspects of MT use and proposes strategies for optimizing its application in the professional performance of interpreters.

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена теоретичному та практичному дослідженню впровадження технологій штучного інтелекту (ШІ) у процес навчання іншомовного мовлення здобувачів закладів вищої освіти (ЗВО). У роботі розкрито сутність поняття «штучний інтелект», визначено його основні функції та можливості в освітній сфері, а також проаналізовано методичний потенціал ШІ для розвитку іншомовної комунікативної компетентності студентів. Представлено систему вправ та креативних завдань, розроблених для імплементації ШІ в освітній процес. / The qualification work is devoted to the theoretical and practical study of the implementation of AI technologies in the process of foreign language studying of students in high educational establishments. The work reveals the essence of the notion «artificial intelligence», defines its main functions and possibilities in the educational sphere, and analyses the methodological potential of AI for the development of students’ foreign language communicative skills. A system of exercises and creative tasks have been developed and worked out for the implementation of AI in the educational process.

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена теоретичному й практичному дослідженню відтворення релігійно-філософського підтексту в англо-українському перекладі пісенної лірики гурту Metallica. Уточнено зміст поняття «підтекст» у перекладознавстві, окреслено особливості релігійно-філософського підтексту та художнього світу гурту, виокремлено провідні релігійні концепти й мотиви. На основі зіставлення англомовних оригіналів та українських перекладів проаналізовано лексико-семантичні, стилістичні та ритміко-інтонаційні засоби відтворення підтексту, визначено типові труднощі його відтворення та сформульовано рекомендації щодо оптимального поєднання семантичної точності, культурної адаптації й емоційно-ритмічної відповідності. The qualifying paper deals with a theoretical and practical study of rendering the religious and philosophical subtext in English–Ukrainian translations of the song lyrics by the band Metallica. It clarifies the notion of “subtext” in translation studies, outlines the specific features of religious and philosophical subtext and the band’s artistic world, and identifies the key religious concepts and motifs in their songs. By comparing English originals with Ukrainian translations, the research analyses lexical, semantic, stylistic and rhythmic-intonational means of conveying subtext, reveals typical difficulties of its reproduction and provides recommendations for balancing semantic accuracy, cultural adaptation and emotional–rhythmic equivalence.

Дипломна робота присвячена аналізу гіпотези Сапіра-Ворфа в контексті взаємозв’язку мови та мислення. Метою дослідження є визначення впливу мовних категорій на сприйняття реальності носіями української та англійської мов. У першому розділі розглянуто теоретичні основи гіпотези лінгвістичної відносності, проаналізовано сучасні підходи до проблеми лінгвістичного детермінізму. У другому розділі подано результати емпіричного дослідження, що підтверджують вплив мовної структури на когнітивні процеси. У висновках узагальнено основні результати та визначено перспективи подальших досліджень. / The diploma thesis is devoted to the analysis of the Sapir–Whorf hypothesis in the context of the relationship between language and thought. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of linguistic categories on the perception of reality by native speakers of Ukrainian and English. The first chapter examines the theoretical foundations of the linguistic relativity hypothesis and analyzes modern approaches to the problem of linguistic determinism. The second chapter presents the results of empirical research that confirm the impact of language structure on cognitive processes. The conclusions summarize the main findings and outline the prospects for further studies in this field.
ЗАСТОСУВАННЯ ІННОВАЦІЙНИХ КОМУНІКАТИВНИХ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ У ПРОЦЕСІ ФОРМУВАННЯ ІНШОМОВНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНЦІЇ В УЧНІВ ЛІЦЕЮ ПРИ ДИСТАНЦІЙНІЙ ТА ЗМІШАНІЙ ФОРМАХ НАВЧАННЯ

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена теоретичному та практичному дослідженню ефективності застосування інноваційних комунікативних технологій у процесі формування іншомовної компетентності учнів ліцею. У роботі розкрито сутність поняття «іншомовна комунікативна компетентність» у сучасній лінгводидактиці, визначено психолого- педагогічні умови її формування в умовах дистанційного та змішаного навчання. Проаналізовано види інноваційних комунікативних технологій, зокрема онлайн- платформи, мультимедійні ресурси, соціальні мережі, а також охарактеризовано їхню роль у підвищенні мотивації та розвитку мовленнєвих умінь. Особливу увагу приділено моделі SAMR як інструменту інтеграції цифрових технологій у навчальний процес. У практичній частині представлено комплекс вправ для розвитку іншомовної компетентності учнів ліцею із використанням інтерактивних ресурсів (Padlet, Miro, Canva, Kahoot, Quizlet) та представлено рекомендації щодо ефективного впровадження інноваційних технологій у викладання іноземних мов. / The qualifying paper focuses on the theoretical and practical study of the effectiveness of using innovative communicative technologies in developing the foreign language competence of lyceum students. The research reveals the essence of the concept of “foreign language communicative competence” in modern linguodidactics and defines the psychological and pedagogical conditions of its formation in distance and blended learning. Various types of innovative communicative technologies are analyzed, including online platforms, multimedia tools, and social networks, as well as their role in enhancing motivation and developing speaking skills. Special attention is paid to the SAMR model as a framework for integrating digital technologies into the educational process. The practical part presents a set of exercises aimed at developing students’ foreign language competence through interactive resources (Padlet, Miro, Canva, Kahoot, Quizlet) and provides methodological recommendations for the effective implementation of innovative technologies in English language teaching.

У роботі з’ясовано теоретичні засади поняття «концепт» у лінгвістичному та літературознавчому аспектах, простежено історичні, релігійні та ідеологічні джерела «американської мрії», а також досліджено особливості її відтворення в сучасних художніх творах. Проаналізовано дискурсивні стратегії, що використовуються авторами для передачі ідей успіху, самореалізації та соціальної мобільності, та їх вплив на зміст і сприйняття текстів. The qualifying paper is focused on studying the concept of the "American Dream" and the ways it is represented in English-language mass literature of the early XXI century. The work clarifies the theoretical foundations of the notion of "concept" in linguistic and literary studies, traces historical, religious, and ideological sources of the "American Dream, " and examines its manifestation in contemporary literary works. Discourse strategies employed by authors to convey ideas of success, self¬realization, and social mobility, as well as their impact on the content and perception of texts, are analyzed.
КІНОАДАПТАЦІЯ ТВОРІВ ОРИГІНАЛУ В МУЛЬТИМОДАЛЬНОМУ ВИМІРІ

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на дослідження процесу кіноадаптації, у якому вербальні елементи змінюються на аудіовізуальні модуси. У роботі розглянуто відмінність між текстом оригіналу та його кіноадаптацією. Зокрема, на прикладі фільму Рідлі Скота «The Martian» показано транформацію головного героя через невербальні засоби, а також виявлено явища інтерполяції та доповнення сюжету. Кіноадаптація «The Nostalgist» демонструє мультимодальність через контраст між реальністю та уявою, що передається зміною кольорів, монтажу та музики. Кіноадаптація створює нову художню реальність шляхом зміни акцентів і широкого використання невербальних засобів The qualification thesis focuses on exploring the process of film adaptation, in which verbal elements are transformed into audiovisual modes. The study examines the differences between the original literary text and its film adaptation. In particular, the analysis of Ridley Scott’s film «The Martian» demonstrates the transformation of the main character through nonverbal means, as well as the presence of interpolation and plot expansion. The film adaptation of «The Nostalgist» illustrates multimodality through the contrast between reality and imagination, conveyed by changes in color, editing, and musical accompaniment. The film adaptation creates a new artistic reality by means of changing focuses and extensively using nonverbal modes.

Практична частина включає аналіз автентичних англомовних заявок туристичної тематики та узагальнює тенденції, що впливають на результативність комунікації між заявником і грантодавцем. The qualifying paper examines the lexical and stylistic properties of grant applications in the field of tourism. It analyzes grant proposals as a form of official- business discourse and identifies key terminology, stylistic devices, modality, nominalization, and clichés that ensure communicative effectiveness. The practical section provides an analysis of authentic English-language tourism-related applications and highlights tendencies that influence successful communication between the applicant and the grantor.
ЛОКАЛІЗАЦІЯ ВІДЕОІГОР УКРАЇНСЬКОЮ МОВОЮ: СУЧАСНИЙ СТАН, ПРОБЛЕМИ, ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ

У кваліфікаційній роботі досліджено сучасний стан, проблеми та перспективи локалізації відеоігор українською мовою. Проаналізовано теоретичні засади локалізації як багатовимірного процесу, що охоплює мовну, культурну, технічну, аудіовізуальну та юридичну адаптацію ігрового продукту до потреб цільової аудиторії. Розглянуто історичний розвиток локалізації відеоігор у світі та в Україні, зокрема роль фанатських спільнот і перші офіційні україномовні релізи. Проведено аналіз прикладів офіційних і неофіційних локалізацій, виявлено основні труднощі перекладу та адаптації. Особливу увагу приділено мовним, технічним і економічним викликам, а також перспективам розвитку українськомовного ігрового контенту в контексті глобалізації та культурної політики. Робота базується на міждисциплінарному підході, поєднуючи методи перекладознавства, лінгвокультурології та соціолінгвістики. / This qualification paper explores the current state, challenges, and prospects of video game localization into Ukrainian. It examines the theoretical foundations of localization as a multidimensional process encompassing linguistic, cultural, technical, audiovisual, and legal adaptation of game products to the needs of target audiences. The study traces the historical development of video game localization globally and in Ukraine, highlighting the role of fan communities and the emergence of official Ukrainian-language releases. The research analyzes both official and fan-made localizations, identifying key translation and adaptation difficulties. Special attention is given to linguistic, technical, and economic challenges, as well as the future of Ukrainian-language game content in the context of globalization and cultural policy. The study employs an interdisciplinary approach, integrating methods from translation studies, cultural linguistics, and sociolinguistics.
МОВНА РЕПРЕЗЕНТАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ "МИР" В АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНІЙ КАРТИНІ СВІТУ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ НОВИННИХ ПОВІДОМЛЕНЬ У СУЧАСНИХ МЕДІА)

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена теоретичному й практичному дослідженню мовної репрезентації концепту «МИР» в англійськомовній картині світу на матеріалі сучасних новинних медіа. У роботі розглянуто особливості концепту «МИР» у лінгвокогнітивному та культурному вимірах, визначено лексико-семантичні, дискурсивні та прагматичні засоби його вираження у новинних текстах, проаналізовано способи відтворення цього концепту в перекладацькій практиці. Робота окреслює специфіку функціонування концепту «МИР» у сучасному англомовному медіадискурсі, висвітлює культурні та комунікативні чинники його інтерпретації, а також демонструє основні перекладацькі трансформації, застосовані під час передачі цього концепту українською мовою. The qualifying paper is devoted to the theoretical and practical study of the linguistic representation of the concept “PEACE” in the English-language picture of the world based on modern news media. The paper examines the peculiarities of the concept “PEACE” in linguistic, cognitive, and cultural dimensions, defines the lexical-semantic, discursive, and pragmatic means of its expression in news discourse, and analyzes the ways of reproducing this concept in translation practice. The research outlines the specificity of the concept “PEACE” functioning in modern English-language media discourse, highlights cultural and communicative factors of its interpretation, and demonstrates the main translation transformations applied when rendering this concept into Ukrainian.
МОТИВ ПАМ’ЯТІ В АВТОБІОГРАФІЧНІЙ КНИЗІ В. НАБОКОВА «SPEAK, MEMORY»

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена комплексному дослідженню мотиву пам’яті в структурі та поетиці автобіографічної книги В. Набокова Speak, Memory. Робота розкриває пам’ять як ключовий структуроутворювальний та ідентифікаційний чинник твору, аналізує мозаїчну композицію мемуарів, роль сенсорних деталей і метафори світла й тіні, а також показує, як пам’ять функціонує як інструмент самоідентифікації емігранта. Застосовано структурно- семіотичний, нарратологічний, інтертекстуальний, біографічний і компаративний методи дослідження. Результати можуть бути використані у курсах зарубіжної літератури та компаративістики. The qualifying paper focuses on a comprehensive study of the motif of memory in the structure and poetics of Vladimir Nabokov’s autobiographical book Speak, Memory. The research interprets memory as a key structural and identity-forming element, analyzes the mosaic composition of the memoir, the role of sensory details and the metaphors of light and shadow, and demonstrates how memory functions as a means of self-identification of the emigrant. The study employs structural-semiotic, narratological, intertextual, biographical, and comparative methods. The results may be applied in courses on world literature and comparative studies.

The qualifying paper is focused on theoretical and practical study of the concept of MULTICULTURALISM in contemporary Canadian media and educational discourse, which allows for a more detailed examination and characterization of the direct influence of polyethnicity on various spheres of life, in particular on the development and transformation of language; to trace the peculiarities of its verbalization and identify the linguistic units, symbols, and strategies that ensure this process.
НАРАТИВНЕ КОНСТРУЮВАННЯ НАЦІОНАЛЬНИХ СТЕРЕОТИПІВ В АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНИХ ХУДОЖНІХ ТЕКСТАХ ДЛЯ ДІТЕЙ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ КАЗОК ТА КОРОТКИХ ОПОВІДАНЬ КАНАДИ ТА США)

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на теоретичне та практичне дослідження механізмів наративного конструювання національних стереотипів у художніх наративах для дітей. У роботі визначено сутність понять «наратив», «наративне конструювання» та «національний стереотип», а також проаналізовано їх функціювання в межах сучасної лінгвістичної науки. Окреслено основні рівні наративної організації тексту й засоби, за допомогою яких здійснюється вербалізація етнокультурних образів. Художні наративи для дітей розглянуто як простір формування соціокультурних уявлень та досліджено лексико-семантичні, стилістичні та прагматичні засоби репрезентації національних стереотипів у вибраних творах Джудіт Вігни, Люсі- Мод Монтгомері, Марка Твена, Ленор Лук, Луїзи Мей Олкотт та Джудіт Байрон Шахнер. Результати дослідження поглиблюють розуміння взаємодії мови, культури та наратологічної організації художніх текстів для дітей та можуть бути використані у лінгвокультурологічних та наратологічних дослідженнях. The thesis focuses on theoretical and practical research into the mechanisms of narrative construction of national stereotypes in fictional narratives for children. It defines the essence of the concepts of «narrative,» «narrative construction,» and «national stereotype,» and analyzes their functioning within the framework of contemporary linguistic science. It outlines the main levels of narrative organization of text and the means by which ethnocultural images are verbalized. Fictional narratives for children are considered as a space for the formation of sociocultural ideas; the lexical-semantic, stylistic, and pragmatic means of representing national stereotypes in selected works by Judith Vigna, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Mark Twain, Lenore Look, Louisa May Alcott, and Judith Byron Schachner are examined. The results of the study deepen the understanding of the interaction between language, culture, and the narratological organization of literary texts for children and can be used in linguocultural and narratological research.

Магістерська робота теоретично та практично досліджує прояв особистого у поезії Емілі Дікінсон через лексико-семантичний та лінгвокогнітивний аспекти. Розглянуто, особливості лексичної системи поезії поетеси, її стилістичні та семантичні засоби передачі інтимного досвіду та внутрішнього світу. Проаналізовано, як когнітивні структури та мовні прийоми впливають на сприйняття читачем особистісного почуттєвого змісту поезії, підкреслюючи роль мови у формуванні інтелектуально-емоційного сприйняття. Створено систему аналізу лексико-семантичних та когнітивних особливостей, що сприяє глибшому розумінню особистісного аспекту у творчості Емілі Дікінсон. Робота підкреслює значення вивчення лінгвістично-когнітивних механізмів у поетичному дискурсі для розвитку літературознавчого та мовного аналізу. The master's thesis theoretically and practically explores the intimate in Emily Dickinson’s poetry through lexico-semantic and linguistic-cognitive aspects. The features of the poetess’s lexical system, stylistic and semantic aspects of conveying personal experience and inner world are considered. The paper analyses how cognitive structures and linguistic techniques affect the reader’s perception of the personal and emotional content of the poetry, emphasizing the role of language in shaping intellectual and emotional reception. A framework for analysing lexico- semantic and cognitive features has been created, promoting a deeper understanding of the intimate aspects in Emily Dickinson’s work. The study highlights the importance of investigating linguistic-cognitive mechanisms in poetic discourse for the development of literary and linguistic analysis.
РОЛЬ НАРАТОРА В РОМАНІ ЛОРЕН ВАЙСБЕРГЕР «ДИЯВОЛ НОСИТЬ ПРАДА»

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена комплексному наратологічному аналізу роману Лорен Вайсбергер «Диявол носить Прада». У дослідженні визначено тип наратора за класифікацією Женета, з’ясовано особливості внутрішньої фокалізації та встановлено ступінь надійності оповідачки Андреа Сакс. Проаналізовано, як суб’єктивна перспектива героїні формує сприйняття персонажів і подій читачем, а також яку роль відіграють наративні техніки — іронія, внутрішній монолог і ретроспективна оцінка. Робота показує, що наративні стратегії роману тісно пов’язані із жанровими маркерами chick lit та постфеміністським дискурсом, виконуючи не лише художню, а й ідеологічну функцію. The qualifying paper presents a comprehensive narratological analysis of Lauren Weisberger’s novel The Devil Wears Prada. The study determines the type of narrator according to Genette’s classification, examines the features of internal focalization, and identifies the degree of reliability of the narrator Andrea Sachs. It analyzes how the heroine’s subjective perspective shapes the reader’s interpretation of events and characters, as well as the role of narrative techniques such as irony, internal monologue, and retrospective evaluation. The paper demonstrates that the novel’s narrative strategies are closely connected with the conventions of chick lit and postfeminist discourse, fulfilling both artistic and ideological functions.
РОМАН АЙРИС МЕРДОК «ЗАМОК НА ПІСКУ» («THE SAND CASTLE»): ПРОБЛЕМАТИКА Й ПОЕТИКА

Кваліфікаційна робота зорієнтована на комплексний аналіз проблематики та поетики раннього роману Айрис Мердок «Замок на піску» (1957). У роботі досліджуються світоглядні проблеми твору (добро і зло, свобода і обов'язок, духовні пошуки, проблема мистецтва), а також риси неоготики в його поетиці. Особливу увагу приділено методу авторецепції, що дозволяє простежити трансформацію сприйняття тексту в залежності від життєвого досвіду читача. / The qualiﬁcation paper is focused on a comprehensive analysis of the problematics and poetics of Iris Murdoch's early novel "The Sand Castle" (1957). The study explores the ideological issues of the work (good and evil, freedom and duty, spiritual quests, the problem of art), as well as the features of neo-Gothic in its poetics. Special attention is paid to the method of auto-reception, which allows tracing the transformation of the perception of the text depending on the reader's life experience.
СПЕЦИФІКА ВІДТВОРЕННЯ ІДІОМ У ХУДОЖНЬОМУ АНГЛІЙСЬКОМОВНОМУ ДИСКУРСІ: ФУНКЦІЙНИЙ ТА ПЕРЕКЛАДАЦЬКИЙ АСПЕКТИ

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню специфіки функціонування та способів перекладу англійських ідіом у художньому англійськомовному дискурсі на матеріалі роману Тсилор ДЖСНКІНС І ІД «СІЛІ чоловіків Евелін Г'юго». У роботі окреслено основні підходи до визначення ідіом, розглянуто їх структурно-семантичні та функційні характеристики. Проаналізовано перекладацькі стратегії відтворення ідіоматичних одиниць українською мовою, зокрема використання еквівалентів, аналогів, калькування, описового перекладу, а також труднощі, пов'язані з національно-культурною специфікою, образністю та контекстуальною варіативністю ідіом. Результати дослідження можуть бути використані у практиці художнього перекладу, викладанні філологічних дисциплін та подальших лінгвістичних розвідках. The paper outlines the main approaches to defining idioms and examines their structural, semantic, and functional characteristics. Translation strategies for rendering idiomatic units into Ukrainian, including equivalents, analogues, caiques, and descriptive translation, are analyzed, along with challenges related to national-cultural specificity, imagery, and contextual variability of idioms. The results of the study can be applied in literary translation practice, the teaching of philological disciplines, and further linguistic research.
